I bought this for my daughter who travels in an RV 42 feet 5th wheel for travel nursing and needed a supplement to her 2 AC units. She set up this unit midway in her RV in a slide out window and it does the job supplementing what she has and really cools the RV down, which was NOT happening with her other 2 units!!! She’s in the desert of AZ, which is a hot dry climate, so she was hot in the RV prior to this unit being installed!!! Although she may not need it, the company sent her out a drainage hose because if she did ever need to drain the unit, she doesn’t need to go out looking for one!! This company is excellent to work with!!! They get back to you quickly if you have questions/needs of any kind!!! The unit is quiet, blows out cold air and cools great, price was reasonable, easy to set up in the window, came timely and was packaged very well!!! Very happy with purchase!!!

This is exactly like the Honeywell I ordered 14 years ago but with improvements. The water won't overflow-it has an automatic off feature for that. It is more compact. The filter fits tighter keeping the dust out. It keeps 2 bedrooms 61 degrees on even hot humid days. I love this unit. And since it is inside you don't have to worry about the outside temperature being low. It comes ready to go (except for the recommended wait time for first use. I use it with the duo pedestal fan that oscillates up and down and around to make sure the air circulates throughout the rooms. I have it on a 30 gallon Rubbermaid full of books to lift it up so it can drain in a bucket. I have the fan on a lower Rubbermaid full of books so it is a little higher than this unit. It is very high quality.

The is air conditioner works great for my sons room that faces west. It usually bakes in the summer getting up to almost 90 degrees in his room on the hottest days. This keeps it a nice 75 degrees. He doesn’t seem to mind the noise even though it makes a clunking sound when turning off and takes a lot of energy that lights dim when it turns on. There is a small gap between the pieces they give you to cover the window so air still gets through. The piece that slides out of the mail part the hose goes in to has to be smaller to fit inside of it so it creates a gap. But no issues really with that. Overall a good buy.

The KAMLAM 14000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner has been working great for almost 2 months now. I bought this portable air conditioner to replace the window unit I had in my bedroom. The window unit was very loud and did not do an effective job at cooling my large bedroom. I took a chance with the budget option to get 12000 BTU buy buying the KAMLAM... i have no regrets... This unit has been kicking strong and keeping the temps down with ease and the with the perk of being much much quieter than the window unit I had before. The set up was easy and took me longer to get the box off then to set up the AC. I would recommend this product and may get another one myself for my sons room.

This AC was delivered very quickly. It’s packaged so well!! I’m an 80+ year old woman and was thrilled the top box is separate from the bottom, so lifting the top off was great! Everything inside was protected well and was so easy to assemble myself👏🏼👏🏼 As directed, I let it sit ready to go for 24 hours. Then turned it on….WOW! The cold air blowing out is amazing. I have a completely open living/kitchen/dining area and it cooled it all down (to 75°) within an hour. (It was 90° outside). I can now run it on "auto"/"cool" and is VERY, VERY quiet, which is important since it’s in my living area. I researched many portable AC’s and am so happy I chose this one!!!

I decided to buy an AC as my lab would get incredibly hot and humid, especially in the summer. When I searched on Amazon, this portable AC unit was on sale. The AC was delivered incredibly fast, the day after I placed the order. However, when I opened the box and saw accessories for window vending installation, I realized that I made a mistake because my lab is in the middle of the building and does not have window, which is necessary for the AC function. I still decided to keep it and use it as a dehumidifier and a fan, another great feature of this unit. About two weeks later, a sales person followed up. After he knew my situation and my decision, he promised to send me an exhaust pipe to be connected to the back of the unit for better dehumidification. I gave this unit 4-star rating because it works very well and quiet, and easy to operate, as well as due to the fast delivery and good customer service, etc. I did not give 5-star rating because this item is a little bit heavy to me and also I do not have chance to test its AC function. However, from my personal experience, I find this to be a great product overall.
