This umbrella is awesome! Its huge! It can keep 2 people out of the rain under a tree, easily. I found the mounting mechanism to work well, I just used it as a tbar to screw it in by hand. It holds the umbrella nice and tight. The tube that takes the umbrella is also easy to reproduce, it's just a 1/4 tube with a hole for the little button to pop into. If you make a few of these, you can put them around common areas of your yard or garden that would be useful. I set one of these home made mounts on either side of my compost, so when it's raining I can still maintain it. The ease of movement is a real life saver. It took about 10 minutes to fully finish the install, but it worked very well. The strap goes around the tree and keeps water out. They also included an extension for wider tree trunks.

Honestly, this thing surprised me. It’s super easy to set up (takes maybe a minute once you get the hang of it), lightweight, and packs neatly into its own little case. Works great in a ladder stand, climber, or even on the ground if you’re turkey hunting. Keeps the rain and snow off, and doubles as shade on hot days, which is always a bonus. It’s sturdy enough for the price, but definitely works best on smaller or mid-size trees. I wish it came with a T-handle starter for the screw-in mount, but I keep one in my pack anyway, so not a big deal. For what it costs, it’s absolutely worth it, it keeps me dry, my gear dry, and my mood better than coffee ever could on a rainy hunt

I am incredibly impressed with this hunting umbrella! It's a game-changer for those all-day sits. The quality is robust—it's made from durable, quiet material and the mounting system is rock solid, giving me peace of mind high up in the tree. It provides a surprisingly large amount of water-resistant coverage, keeping me dry and significantly cutting down on windchill. This camo umbrella by Kalkal is pretty cool. It's fairly large and should cover most of you unless the rain is coming in sideways. You have to select the right tree to use this, a really large diameter tree isn't going to work. This umbrella is very easy to set up and install- IF you bring a T-starter, one is not included. Seems pretty sturdy so far, stores really easy too. Worked well to keep me shielded from the hot sun. This is a great and simple design for what it provides. I do wish there was a non-trunk penetrating option, just for preserving tree health and integrity.

Extremely compact, easy to use, good value for the cost, benefit for snow or rain while hunting. I can easily be used on the ground for turkey. Overall great addition to my hunting gear. Got this for rainy days in my climber and ladder stands. Goes on almost any size tree quickly and easily using the screw in spike attached to the tree section. Attach to tree section prior to attaching the umbrella. Once attached secure umbrella snapping it in and secure the rear with included strap. (additional strap length provided if the its not long enough. Works great to keep the rain off or shade you on hot days. PROS - easy to setup take a about sixty seconds. Practice at home to make it easier - self contained carrying case makes it easy to store in a day pack - light weight and sturdy - good length of securing cord - NO SMELL - secures shut like any other umbrella for easy of storage in the case - Reasonable cost for the item CONS - I wish it came with a starter T handle. I carry one for other things not an issue, but it would be a nice add I recommend and will be buying one for my son. Great item. See pictures

Huge umbrella that fits around a tree to provide you some relief from rain is great for my needs. I'm always sitting around a tree and usually hunting in late fall/early winter so moisture is always a possibility. Love how this is able to wrap around the tree with an easy velcro system. Umbrella itself is pretty large too so you can feel like it provides enough protection. Quality is ok.. not the highest level, but not terribly cheap either. Comes with a nice storage bag. Overall, loving it.
