OMG, where has this gel been all my life!! let me start here: my hair is thick and curly. I've been using Eco gel for as long as I remember but my hair was starting to look like straw, dry as heck!. I changed shampoo, conditioner, deep conditoned a few times with no results. One day it occurred to me that it may be the gel? I need heavy gel so I did a search something like "heavy gel" and this once came up. I figured hey, I can always return it if it doesn't work, right? WRONG! This is probably the BEST gel I've ever used! It doesn't flake at all, keeps my curls shaped and since we don't have smell-a-monitor, it smells kind of strong like a man's cologne but the smell dissipates pretty quick (I happen to love the smell too). . I do have a small warning: use sparingly. It has a pretty strong hold but once you break the cast, the curls stay in place. The final test happened when we went to Florida last week. Y'all know what humidity does to curly hair, am I right? I was afraid I was going to be looking like a chia pet or something but it never happened. This gel kept my hair in place ALL.DAY.LONG!! The best part is that my hair doesn't look dry anymore, I got no idea what kind of ingredients are in it but I am in love. I hope and pray this doesn't get discontinued anytime soon, but in case, I'm ordering back ups LOL. Try it, you will love it.

THE BEST GEL THAT I'VE EVER USED!! I've been slicking my hair for over 30 years and this product has the greatest consistency, weight, controllability and manageability of all the other products that I've used. The cost-to-quantity ratio is unmatched for my satisfaction. The look, feel, texture and ease of small-quantity distribution/effectiveness can't be beat. I've always used a hair gel in combination with a hairspray and now have found the perfect base that works excellently with the spray that I've settled on for the past four to five years now. Even more excited because my item shipped Friday the 21st and arrived Monday the 24th; about three to four days earlier then estimated. -Gels from past years: L.A. Looks (formula changed over the years) Aussie gel/mousse, Crew, Bed Head, ECO series. -Hair Sprays from past years: RAVE (formula changed many years ago), Suave series, Tresemme series, Aussie spray, Got 2 B Glue. The combination of this product with my G2BG spray requires minimal spray (compared together combos unless G2BG gel) to cap off the stiff all day hold that I want. Even holds up to heat and sweat with flaking or giving me Elmer's scalp. The gel alone gives me 85-90% of the result that I want. I haven't yet tried this part in the field for when I'm generally out there for 5 days or more, but when I do I'll let you know. Johhmy B was not available. Reading the reviews I decided to give this hair gel a try. This stuff is great. Holds my thick hair in place all day. A little goes a long way. The scent has a hint of barber shop. Blends in well with my Clubman after shave and cologne. This is now my go to hair gel.

The lid was off the container. Saved 3/4 of the product, but I had to clean up a mess. Most likely this happen during delivery. The product is great, but amazon needs to deliver it with more care.

My hair looks wett its so shiny. If you have curly hair this is a little known gem. Pros- it lays down your roots, defys your curls, little to no frizz, hold is level 12 lol no joke so if your heavy handed with product you've been warned, washes out so easy it felts like conditioner in the shower, the shine is ridiculous, no tacky or moist gummy feeling on your hands or hair, mixes well with certain leavins aunt jackies coconut sealant. Cons- does not have much slip like my favs aunt jackies ice curly jelly, extreme gel (purple one), ecoslay, garnier naturals and curldaze, does not mixx well with thick butters, creams and milk and last the ingredients are not natural so if you are use to the higher end gels with all natural ingredients this is not for you but for me i like hving a variety of products that get the job done rather all natural or not.

Hand down my favorite hair product. Works like gel but looks like pomade. Hold last all day and even through my workouts. I like the look of pomade but hate that I need so much of it and it's hard to work with. this gel solves both those issues. Works best with damp hair because it's thick., but you don't need much. I like the low sheen.
