They are very nice. What i received was 1 remote to control all candles, every candle was present and in good condition, and they require 2 AA batteries per candle to work. Violà! The remote has options for setting a timer on the candles and it worked for me! They didn't feel real warm to the touch so I don't think that burning out should be an issue. I think these are pretty sturdy to the touch but dropping them on concrete or any other hard surface would surely cause damage. Its not made of glass but fragile plastic. Be careful! ... show more

This set of candles was on sale so the price was good at around $12, there was a lot of candles in the set I think five. They look pretty from a distance and the remote control is really nice. They are a low-grade plastic material though when you get up close, not a big deal and they have twinkle lights that are in the base of the candles that you can turn on or off which I like, I don’t care for the twinkle lights setting, these were good value, but they’re not the highest quality But they definitely look nice. ... show more

These look so great! I love that they have multiple different functions, where either the lights can just all be on and solid, or you can make them flicker. There are settings for the little LEDs around the side of the candle and separate settings for the flame part of the candle. You can even set timers with the remote, and I tested it Because I was a little skeptical on if it was going to actually turn them off after the selected time frame. I think it's also pretty great that the remote needs to be facing the candle that you want to control. And as you make different changes to the settings, the candles will dim for a second and then go back up. That's how you would know if the candles registered the changes you made with the remote. ... show more

I needed a quick anniversary gift that could be delivered overnight. I knew that this husband and wife love decorations and their home is always seasonally decorated. This seemed like something that could be a nice centerpiece, and I bought it in the ivory color so that it would coordinate with multiple seasons. Each candle came bubble-wrapped and the acrylic surrounds on the outside of the candles were clean and smudge-free. The LED cables wrapping around cast a warm glow and the center "flame" was appropriately sized. The couple immediately started trying out the dimmer and seemed really pleased. I checked in with the wife and she said it was a great gift for them. We have a fireplace we don’t use and the candles are perfect places inside of it. The soft glow is so soothing. I highly recommend these. The only problem I have is that one of our dogs bit the remote and now it does not work. Is there any way to order a replacement remote?
