Description

C (3000) Series Handmade FlutesKaizer handmade flute in rose gold finish - rose gold hand-cut headjoint with rose gold lip plate and riser. Rose gold body with soldered tone holes, nickel-silver keys, ribs, and posts, closed hole model, offset G and split E mechanism. This model is available with C footjoint. Many advanced players prefer the open feel of ring keys for subtle control of their tone. Many players find the offset G configuration easier to play. Often teachers recommend that beginners start on these flutes, while more and more advanced players are also choosing this natural feeling configuration. Many advanced students and professionals, though, still prefer the traditional in-line formation where all the tone-holes are in a straight row. C footjoint provides flexible, much warmer tone. Built to Last Kaizer Student Flutes are built to be tough and low maintenance. Made with a nickel- silver body for enhanced tonality and durability while the outside finish protects the integrity of the flute's body. Keys are professionally padded so that they're airtight when pressed and allows for better response and intonation control; keys are loaded with steel springs for longevity and secured with adjustable screws for making small adjustments.

    • Not bad. But out of tune.
Over all the flute is a pretty good flute but not for beginners. I was super excited and it sounded good until I went to tune it, and it was way out of tune for the flute itself the flute is sharp so you have to pull the mouth piece out alot just to get the right sound.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Straight out of the case it’s gorgeous. The rose gold does not disappoint. As far as the mechanics of the flute, the pads seal well and were level just as they should. Low register sang beautifully because the head joint has a standard tone hole which for beginners is ideal to project good tone. My only concern is that when I have to overhaul the instrument later on I might get a technician that will refuse to work on it because it’s complexity in metals and parts, which I’m not sure 🤔 if Kaizer distributes individually but I’m sure any one could get in touch with the manufacturer and make a special request. Ideally for the money you get a great sounding flute for intermediate to advanced players and to us this is a novelty. I would not recommend buying a brand new beginner this flute unless they were in the market for high quality and high interest student. They have to be taking music seriously and religiously to want to play this type of flute. Again the selling point is the rose gold color which accents the tone so beautifully in the middle to lower register. The upper split E mechanism works like magic and never cracks no matter what dynamic you’re trying to achieve. The highest C is however a stretch even for someone as myself. But if you slightly adjust the embouchure and stream of air quite forcefully the high C pops out. The keys also pop back up quite quick. So the action is fully functional and great for fast baroque/classical playing. THE BIGGEST RECOMMENDATION I MAKE IS THAT KAIZER PRODUCE THIS FLUTE AS AN OPEN HOLED OFFSET G SPLIT E MECHANISM WITH THE LOW B FOOT ! It would be a total game changer for Intermediate students and could definitely compete with Yamaha intermediate models but not because of the metals but because of the price difference and glam factor which will sell!
