I bought this flute back in 2015. I've loved it; the tone is great for the price I paid though it was cheaper than I am seeing it being sold for now. It has the most fantastic tone. It makes me appear better than I really am, it sounds that good. I have an older Gemeinhardt flute but this one is sooooo much better in tone and quality of sound.

but I love what I got for the price I paid. It plays incredibly; I love my tone. I've never played a pearl before, so I was pleasantly surprised! A little unhappy that the case doesn't really fit the flute snugly, but a new case can fix that; the flute itself plays great and I have had no problems so far. ... show more

Excelente Flute, strong and clear sound. Very well made. This intermediate flute delivers the sound at the amateur level. My daughter was able to pass the test at the school and was rated superior.

    • Beware, it doesn't play.
I realize this flute was on sale but I still expected it to function. I cannot play f#. the flute sounds lie it is leaking. I can take it to a music repair shop but the nearest is and hour away. I am very unhappy.

Bought this for my daughter who is an intermediate flutist in two youth symphony orchestras. Beautiful clear tones and she loves it. Not the high end symphonic flutes, but my ear can't hear a difference.
