I have not used this yet but I will say that evaluating all similar products, this meter offers the most features for the dollar. It appears to be sturdy and well made. For the price, it is a value to get a 6000 count readout. Others have 4000 or 2000. It also handles up to 600 amps and 600 volts. Other brands are either obviously low quality or are overpriced. I will be using mine to evaluate all the panels in my solar array. This clamp design will allow me to simply walk up to one of my panels, clamp around the positive lead of the solar panel and read the voltage and amps. I do not advise taking the leads off of the panels while they are working. Also, the connectors on the panel wires are fragile. This meter should be perfect for measuring the panels AND not damaging them. After I can actually use this tool, I will update this review, but for now, I can say that it seems to be the most logical choice.

I have used this to measure DC amps on an old car that has a parasitic current loss. I wanted the clamp style and that's how I got this one. Much less expensive than the ones that Harbor Freight sells. This was surprising since I always count on Harbor Freight to be lowest cost - but not in this case.

the only issue I've run into with this is the leads for some reason I don't get good conduction through the original ones, but I have other, and they work well. I took one star because of the probe leads.

I have a really good Fluke 87 multimeter but it could only measure up to 20uf capacitors, and that won’t work for measuring air conditioning dual run capacitors operating at 55uf. This meter test them very quickly and accurately. I was really surprised and quite pleased.

I like this a lot it has a lot of functions seems to be a reasonable quality for the price I had a fluke that I used for 20 years and it was single digit temperature I dropped it and it shattered in a million pieces so this is a good replacement.
