    • Amazing - for the 1lb Kahwa espresso. — 2.2 lb bag is very bad!!!
Flavor Name: Cubano Dark Roast Espresso Blend Size: 1.00 Pound (Pack of 1)
This coffee is amazing. I wanted to try a new brand. I got the 1 lb bag to try and the flavor was so good, unlike other espresso I’ve tried before. I had to order it again to see if it was real, and it did not disappoint! Would definitely continue to get the Kahwa espresso again. (Note: only for the 1 lb version) For the 2.2 lb larger bag - What the heck?!? I thought I had found the best espresso having tried the 1 lb Kahwa in a couple of separate orders. I thought it would be great to start a subscription with the larger bag and make this my routine! I was wrong. Don’t get the larger bag!!! I don’t know why, but even on first pull, it was terrible. The espresso tasted like it was strained through an old sock!! This can’t be the same coffee!? How can it be so different? ... show more

    • My favorite dark roast Cuban espresso, yummy!

My Breville has turned me into a decent barista and enjoying good fresh ground coffee beans questions buying a drink outside my home. Delicious dark roast, oily beans, if you like a dark roast, no sour bitter notes. I don’t know how to express notes like a wine, I’ll add that to my barista training. I had the pleasure of being in North St. Petersburg with my sister at a Kahwa coffee shop and just loved the vibes as well as the coffee. In the photos you can see the cappuccino and a shot. The dosing is just right for a delicious dark roast. We also purchase the Sirocco and now difficult to find Mistral. The Greenwise in Tallahassee now serves Kahwa coffees too. ... show more

    • Mediocre coffee. Overpriced
Flavor Name: Cubano Dark Roast Size: 2.00 Pound (Pack of 1)
The flavor was nothing special. I can get an extra pound for the same price of better coffee. Packaging is lacking. I opened it and it tore. I wouldn't do again.

    • Did you want crema?
Flavor Name: Cubano Dark Roast Espresso Blend Size: 1.00 Pound (Pack of 1)
Very rich and flavorful beans. Borderline on the dark French toast but with a unique twist that's frankly hard to describe. It's just good, if not great. When making espresso, this provides a deep foam of crema topping off a chocolate and roasted flavor that is again indescribable. I would say this is a nice variety to try during the winter months, or with a churro. ... show more

    • Exceptional Cuban Espresso
Flavor Name: Cubano Dark Roast Espresso Blend Size: 1.00 Pound (Pack of 1)
I usually have Cafe Bustelo or Cafe la Llave, but this is absolutely amazing upon first open. The smell is so dreamy. And taste-wise, I felt it had plenty of flavor and aroma. Will repurchase

    • Good flavor but no richness
Flavor Name: Cubano Dark Roast Espresso Blend Size: 1.00 Pound (Pack of 1)
So I love Cuban Roast Espressos, so I try any I can get my hands on. With this stuff, the flavor is good but it's got no body, no richness. The wife and I have tried it more than half dozen times each, and we've both come to the same conclusion. We've both tried it as hot doppios, and she tried it as Americanos (which I don't drink, nasty watered down beverage--espresso straight up for me!), same result every time. If you like the flavor of this but want a little thicker, richer pull, try Mayorga Cuban roast, Gavina Old Havana, or Supreme Bustelo. ... show more
