After a few minutes reading the instructions and adjusting the strap to the correct length for my shoes, I was able to put them on quickly. 20 sec ea foot. We frequently hike in the woods and debris constantly gets kicked up into my shoes settling around my lower ankles and getting stuck in my socks. Extremely annoying and uncomfortable. Hi could you please help me to check that I bought two of the hiking shoes gaiters Jan 23th, received Graphite and I love it. but Berry one was bought to my sister . I don’t see her use it when we hiking so I start notice she never had it .

They need a hook and loop fastener at the top of the zipper to keep it up. When it comes down (every run in the snow), balls of snow pack in between the gater and the shoe making it worse than having no gater. Otherwise I love them.

Really liked the material and how light these were. Unfortunately, the strap that goes under shoes is VERY difficult to adjust. Had to return them.

The combination of zipper and under-strap is nearly impossible to put on. Flawed design. However, I threw away the straps and hand-sewed some velcro to the back. Glued velcro to the backs of my shoes to complete the installation. Now I have the equivalent of zippered Dirty Girls, which fixes the biggest problem with DG's (that you have to remove boots/shoes to put them on). This is the best of both worlds. ... show more

I only used these once so far, but was very impressed. I hiked 7 miles up/down 5,000 vertical feet in sand, scree (including some boot skiing down sand-scree in a few locations), rock, heather and forested trail in the Monte Cristo area of Washington. Nothing got in my boots. I can't yet speak for durability, but I'll re-post if that becomes an issue. ... show more
