After months of researching biometric gun safes, I finally purchased this one and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment it arrived, everything about it felt solid and well-designed. The build quality is excellent, with heavy-duty steel construction that gives me confidence my firearms are secure, whether at home or while traveling. The fingerprint scanner is fast, responsive, and accurate. In an emergency, speed matters, and this safe absolutely delivers. There’s also a backup keypad and key lock, which adds another layer of reassurance. I appreciate the interior LED lighting and the padded lining, which protects my firearms from scratches. Battery life has been solid so far, and the low battery indicator is a helpful feature. What really sets this safe apart is the peace of mind it offers. Knowing my firearms are both secure from unauthorized access and quickly accessible to me is priceless, especially with children in the house. If you’re on the fence, don’t hesitate. First of all, calling this a gun safe is a far stretch. Not trying to sound negative right off the bat, but all sides excluding the front door (to a degree) are thin sheets of metal. This is more of a gun cabinet to prevent people from getting your firearms and more so to keep them organized. I did a lot of research on various “safes” before settling on this one, and for the Black Friday sales price, it is good for now for what I need it for. Right out of the box I had no problems. A lot of people said theirs came damaged but mine did not – thankfully. The instructions are absolute garbage. These seemed like they were translated from another language because the wording makes no sense whatsoever, they seem to skip crucial steps in the setup, and the illustrated pictures were no better. I tried to look at the product information and couldn’t find a country of origin if that matters to you or not. This definitely takes two people to put together, roughly around two hours including the digital keypad setup, and you will be asking yourself and a friend were pieces go even after looking at the instructions, because NOTHING IS LABELED, even though the instructions tell you what pieces are "labeled," they are not, and is a major complaint about his product. The only parts of the safe I couldn’t use were the two storage pieces that are in the shape of “right triangles,” and they didn’t fit at all on either side once everything was put together, and no, I didn't miss any steps, simply put, they were cut wrong from the manufacture. The digital keypad is a pain to setup, and I suggest watching the videos and paying super close attention to them, because you will need to rewind and pause multiple times. Overall, this is okay for the price, but nowhere near a long-term solution and definitely not “indestructible” as they claim it to be, and even though it has many flaws, I believe this is a far better option to keep your firearms out of reach of anyone other you the owner. Saving up for a true gun safe will take time, given that a true gun safe cost hundreds of dollars and even gets into the thousands with certain brands and materials. Good luck!

What do you want to do with this safe? If you want to protect your guns against a thief determined to steal them, this safe is NOT for you. The metal is thin and it certainly isnt fireproof. I feel with a good pry bar I could get into the safe. If you want to keep your kids from getting their hands on your guns, but you also want quick access should you ever need them, then this safe IS for you. No screws or fasteners are on the outside so no child is going to unscrew the door. They arent going to get in without making noise. Im buying my second safe as I have a special needs teenager who doesnt always make the best choices. And he has friends over from time to time. With this safe, I can use a complicated pass code or finger print and keep the key locked up somewhere else. The finger print reader is especially nice in that it will read and unlock within a half second. Thats great for my farm as we have livestock and predators. The safe is tipsy, especially since the door is heavy, but it includes anchors to attach it to a wall. The nay layers, I feel, are expecting more out of this safe than it is designed to do.

AVOID! I’d give 0 stars if possible. Supposedly “indestructible” design: only the front door is made of thick steel, the other panels are thin and lightweight, causing the entire thing to tip over when open unless you have it bolted down. The instructions are especially frustrating as none of the pieces are labeled properly so you have to determine which part is which based off of vague images. I’d rather spend the extra money and buy something of higher quality.

It’s been a month since I got mine and I am really happy with my safe/locker. It’s perfect for keeping your little ones or visitors hands off of your firearms. Putting it together is easy and one tip if you’re assembling alone, when it is time to install the door, wedge one of the styrofoam pieces under the door and the safe will not tip over. The safe is pretty spacious considering its compact size and you can actually fit a lot in it. You can opt to or not to use all the shelves that come with the safe, plus you can add things to it if you’d like.. Definitely mount it to a wall using the hardware or your own, as it will give it some stability and sturdiness. The lock is easy to set program and use, and having 3 ways to open it is a nice feature.
