Fantastic gun safe, great value for the price. The safe is easy to build and locks tight with both a pin and fingerprint lock. It can hold plenty of rifles and handguns and has storage for ammunition on top. This is the perfect storage to keep your family safe but have quick access as well. I also saw that it has an alarm mode that triggers if the password is entered incorrectly or the safe is shaken which helps with peace of mind.

Just a gun cabinet, not a gun safe, but i knew that before purchasing. The sheet metal is very thin. Will not stop even a mildly determined thief, but it keeps the kids out effectively. Assembly instructions leave a lot to be desired. Pictures don't provide an adequate level of detail and you just have to guess a few times... It's also less configurable than it could be, but overall not a bad product for the price. Fingerprint scanner works pretty well and programming it was easy. You would be hard pressed to fit more than 6-8 long guns in here. There is an extremely weak LED light that comes on when you first open it, but it doesn't provide much by way of illumination and I can't find any way to keep it on so if it's in a dark closet you may want to consider some other means of lighting.

Really nice safe! The photos are a little optimistic with how many rifles you could fit, but the dimensions are shown clearly and I measured before ordering so no harm done. Assembly was easy and instructions nice and clear. Tolerances are tight and everything fit together nicely, it is strong feeling but not too heavy so I was able to move it around easily. The trade-off is that the door is a bit heavier (contains shelves, electronics, and the lock mechanisms) so with the door open and the safe empty, it does have a tendency to tip forward. It includes wall anchors to help prevent this, but I solved it myself by leaving a case of ammo at the bottom. If you have multiple rifles, this is probably a non-issue for you once they are all in there. The pistol box is hugely useful, easy way to organize a couple of them and there is space for a few magazines or holster too. Top shelf is great for placing other pieces of gear such as your optics, spare mags, etc. It comes with some adjustable pieces, a metal bracket that contains a piece of foam with 5 slots to hold the barrel of your rifles in place. The back has two of these that you can move around as you see fit in a grid pattern to help, then there are one for either side wall. These are specific to their side, so I ended up taking one out so I could have an empty wall so I could keep my rifle in the bag and lean it against that side. My only gripe about these foam pieces is that the slots are cut thin, so a large foregrip will not fit. This means if you own an AR with an M Lok grip (or other wide-front rifles like SCAR, JAKL, XCR, etc), it won't fit, so you'll have to move the foam piece up higher around the end of the barrel. I think a more classic rifle or hunting rifle would fit perfectly though in there. It's good enough for basic protection/organizing. I finally got around to the electronics, programming it was very easy. I don't have kids so I disabled the alarm part, and you can set the safe to be completely silent or beep when opening - very nice. Fingerprints seem accurate and easy, and I did a few tests to see if I could "trick" it into opening with the wrong fingers or someone else's fingers and it seems secure. You can also add multiple codes and more, but you can't track which code opened the door or any other advanced features like that. Again, for a more casual hobbyist like myself, it's perfect, everything I need without stuff I wouldn't use anyway. It also comes with two keys so you can use it without any electronics no problem, and even further it comes with a little box that takes AA's that you can plug into the keypad to power it in case your AA's run out while you're on vacation or something. Super cool and well thought out. There is also a light on the side of the electronics box so you have a little bit of light when you open the door, but it is VERY dim, and since it's lower on the door you can't see into the pistol box at all. I just put my own LED work light on the door panel but it'd be nice if the light could be mounted somewhere else or was a bit brighter - not that I plan on opening the safe in the dark very often. For the price especially, I'm thrilled. Exactly what I needed for some basic security, without being overly complex or heavy.

This gun locker is exactly what I wanted to keep my guns secure from my children. It is sturdy and well made and I feel safe using it to keep my guns locked away from my kids. What it is NOT is a gun safe. At 80lbs, it could easily be carried out and stolen by 1-2 strong men, even fully loaded. It could also be fairly easily pried/cut open by someone determined to get in. My children would not damage it like that but a criminal that has stolen the whole locker would. You are trading ease of movement for a little less secure of a device. I personally did not want to manage a 500-1000lb gun safe as I only have a collection of less than 10 firearms. The good: Easy to assemble, all holes lined up and instructions made sense for the most part. I would recommend using a drill for the 40+ screws as others have said as they are meant to be self tapping and that is a lot of effort to do by hand with a screwdriver. It has a ton of storage space and options. The weight is low enough that it can be moved easily, but the metal is a thick enough gauge that it feels sturdy enough to be functional. The biometrics works pretty reliably but you always want to have access to that key as a fail safe. I recommend keeping one of the two keys hidden close enough to the locker so you can get in in a pinch. The bad: The instructions were slightly unclear, and I am left with this small electronic box that takes 4 AA batteries that I have no idea what it does or where it goes. The screen is sometimes finicky when trying to wake it up, almost like the computer is thinking or lagging. The built in light is pretty pointless, doesn't always come on and doesn't really shine into the locker.
