The whole family loves the tree for the price you can’t beat. Yes, some of the fake snow comes off on the floor while assembling (but you should expect that with a flocked tree) But not bad and you definitely don’t notice any off the tree itself. Tree fluffed out well with minimal loss of the flocking. They enclose a pair of white gloves with the tree, which helped protect my hands while putting the tree together. I thought it looked great by itself but once ornaments and lights were added it was even better! Highly recommend buying this, especially if you're ballin on a budget. ... show more

I ordered this thinking it would be a simple flocked tree for my entryway or front porch, but when it arrived it was much too pretty to put outside! It comes in 2 easy to assemble pieces and the base is a simple x-shaped metal base with a set screw to tighten it to the tree in the stand. Once assembled it is quite firm and easy to move around without separating or falling apart. The tree arrived with the branches folded together like a closed umbrella, so it takes some gentle prying to get them apart and spread out. Luckily, they included a pair of gloves so you can do this part without scratching up your hands or hurting the tree. A little bit of the flocking did come off, but that's understandable when the trees branches are being tugged and maneuvered. However, once the separation and fluffing is complete the tree is very full and pretty! It has heavier flocking toward the top and then lighter toward the bottom so it looks like the snow fell on it freshly and coated the top but only sprinkled onto the lower branches, some of the pine cones are flocked and some aren't again just like a real tree in the forest could be after a fresh snowfall. I think I'm going to have a woodland themed Christmas this year! I would definitely recommend this tree to anyone wanting a more "real forest tree" look for their holiday decor! ... show more

This is a nice Christmas tree. There’s a faint chemical smell on opening, but not bad. Assembly is required with confusing instructions, but it’s not difficult. One person can do it. There are two different instruction sets for two different base designs, but it was easy to figure out which one we had and how to put it together. We had an unused screw at the end. It comes with a cheap pair of gloves that fit women’s size small and stretch for larger sizes. These are useful because the branches are a little prickly and you need to adjust them. The top of the tree needs to bend a bit to fit in the box, but we were able to straighten it out. It’s a bit of an art adjusting the branches to fill in gaps, but it fills in nicely if you take a little time with it. When completed the green part of the tree (without base) is about 3 1/2 feet tall. We like fat trees, but most artificial trees, like this one, are more slim. I would prefer a little more irregularity like a natural tree, but few artificial trees offer it. It was easy to take apart and put back in the box, so it doesn’t take up much storage space. I thought it might be weird to have just a 4 foot tree, but after putting it together and sitting it on top of a box (wrapped up like a giant present), I fell completely in love with the little tree! As soon as I unboxed it I realized the great quality of materials. The base is actually metal and quite sturdy. The tree is split into two sections. The bottom slides into the base easily and is held in place with some screw pins. The top just as easily slides into the bottom section. That’s it as far as assembly goes. The rest is just fluffing the branches. I especially love the fact you don’t have to install each branch individually, like my older tree. These just fold down in place. Branches on the bottom are hinged and fold down easily. The top branches require some bending, but still easy to do. You will definitely have to take some time (and patience) to fluff out the branches. There is a certain art to it! Once complete you will be surprised at how full the tree looks. They even added some branch material to the central “trunk” to help disguise it. Really, I had the whole tree up and ready for lights in under 15 minutes. One more detail, the branches are pretty sturdy so they hold up fine for medium weight ornaments. Really lovely tree! ... show more

I purchased this tree for my 90 year old mother. The main reason we ordered this one was because the description stated it was prelit. I immediately set the tree up when I received it. It is not prelit, not a single light included on the tree!

This is my third artificial tree and it is by far the best. I threw my last one away two years ago because of having to insert and fluff the individual bottom branches - just an incredible hassle. This one has them all attached and hinged to the "trunk" so it sets up much quicker. I purchased a similar pre-lighted one at a local b&m home store for the same price but took it back because the branches stopped over a foot above the base making it look awkward and I didn't like the way the lights looked and worked. The bottom branches on this one go down to about 8" above the bottom looking more natural. The only complaint I have about it is the flocking is fairly dusty and comes off some when putting the lights (not included) on, plus the fronds are a little stiff making it a little more resistant to fluffing. But once up and fluffed it looks great. There's also a pair of gloves included to protect your hands when setting it up. Should probably have a vacuum cleaner handy to vac up the dust and flock that falls off during set up. ... show more
