If your installation requires tempered glass windows, these will NOT pass inspection. There is no tempered glass symbol on the glass and without that symbol, they will fail an inspection if the work is being done under a building permit or by a due diligence inspection if you are selling your home. If someone were to be injured by the broken glass of this window, you could be sued if building code requires tempered glass in the location where the window is installed.

The window itself is great and overall great quality. The issue is the broken latch. I ordered 2 windows and 1 of the latches had arrived damaged. I orded another window, broken again... and another after that, broken again.

This vinyl single hung window is a great, solid choice for a modern window. I installed the 24" x 36" size and I've already noticed a difference. The double-pane insulated glass really does a good job. It cuts down on the noise coming from outside and I can tell it's helping keep the temperature inside more stable. The smooth vertical sliding design works perfectly- it opens and closes without any sticking or too much friction. I love the tilt-in feature, making cleaning the outside of the window from the inside of the house easy. The whole unit feels durable and well-made, and the vinyl frame seems tough. The built-in drainage system works well and I've had no leaks. Overall, this is a high quality, practical, and energy-efficient window.
