Past couple of years,I bought two tire pump from Amazon,it's not every day that need to use portable pump but it's important when you needed it works,first one took a very long time to work properly and recently I just trow it in the garbage, and second one was just a unusable garbage!! But this unit is the one to have ,sturdy, durable, reliable and fast . Highly recommend. I purchased this last year, but in the past few months , the adapter that fits into the cigarette lighter, gets so extremely hot that you can't touch it , the fuse inside burned out and the spring in between the fuse and adjustable tip burned out too and failed, but the pump itself works great , sound stupid though, since you can't use the pump without the power ,very DISAPPOINTED.

Great item, wish I bought it sooner. Once you set your tire psi it shuts off. The charge doesn’t last as long as stated. NP. If the jump start doesn’t work right away, wait a minute and press the boost button. Attaching the jumper cables was a bit difficult, other than that, I would recommend. Oh and the flexible case is well made and durable, not flimsy.

The media could not be loaded. At first I was a little skeptical at the practicality of this pump. I saw it as an occasional use thing when you get the Tire Pressure Warning indicator. After using it to inflate 33 inch off-road tires on my van and testing the duty cycle, cord length and ease of use, I am really impressed. It truly is "one handed operation" as evidenced by my video. Using the center cig lighter outlet, I was able to reach the back wheels and at a target of 70 PSI, it worked pretty quickly. If you have an extended length rig and don't have a rear outlet, you might need an extension. Other than that, I have no complaints or issues. The hose screws on securely so you can move on to another task while a wheel inflates. The cord and hose neatly coil around the body and the whole package fits in a convenient storage bag. The handle is also a nice feature as the unit does get warm after extended use. I checked the accuracy of the gage and got readings the same as the pressure gage I use to check race tires. There is a light built in to one end and it my get some use. I have a very expensive hard wired compressor in my van that was supplied by a maker of off road equipment and this pump is quieter, faster and about one twentieth the price. The overall construction quality is very high so I see it surviving a fair amount of abuse. Eventually these pumps lose the ability to deliver high pressure as the piston wears out but if I get five or six years of modest use, I will remain very pleased.

When powered with 15V it takes 10A when just blowing air in the atmosphere. When inflating a tire the current goes up to 15A, however it works well on a 2023 Tesla Model 3. The claim about the enhanced thermal design in the product description is misleading. Every "heatsink" element that you see on the product is actually plastic. This plastic insulates the motor and the pump cylinder so they get really hot after a few minutes of use. The air hose gets very hot at the pump port. I had this problem before on other cheap compressors. Please do not bend the hose and do not apply any force to it while hot if you want it to survive. I'll keep the compressor given the relatively low price and the fact that it operates at a low current that is tolerated by the Tesla. There are no good options for better compressors that operate at low current.

This review is for the K KRIËGER Air Compressor Portable Tire Inflator, 12V DC Air Pump for Car Tires. I was surprised by how fast this compressor is. Tested it on my SUV after deflating one of my tires to 29 PSI and inflating back to recommended 34 PSI and it only took 1 minute and 40 seconds (that’s less than 20 seconds per). I repeated the test 3 times with same results. I liked the carry-on bag to keep in the car in case of an emergency and the included extra tips to inflate balls, airbeds, etc. Both cords wrap around the unit so there are no messy wires when you need to put it back in the bag which is the perfect size for it. Also, the screw-on hose is another plus and makes it very easy to plug into the tire. On the negative, the auto-shutoff feature didn’t work for me, the light is not powerful enough and the digital reading takes a few seconds to catch up and mark correctly. For example, when inflating to 34 PSI I had to shut it down manually at the 33 PSI point. This thing is fast and will get you back on the road quickly when stranded after having a flat and completing the needed repairs. It does the job right, is not too noisy and the small footprint makes it a good choice if you’re looking to stop paying to keep your tires at the right pressure and keep it in your apartment or in the garage. Verdict = 5 stars.

The media could not be loaded. This K KRIËGER Air Compressor Portable Tire Inflator is such a well-made, compact and handy item to have or carry around in your vehicle's trunk for those just in case moments. Normally I would have to drive down the road to the service station and pay to use the air machine to fill my tires up, not anymore. This compressor works well and is easy to use as all you need is a functioning DC outlet in your vehicle to plug it in to. I really love that I can preset the air pressure and not have to pay attention while it does its work. The display lights up and is big and easy to read. One complaint is that the air hose is not long enough to just set the compressor in one spot and be able to reach all 4 tires without havening to move the compressor a few times, but this is more of an annoyance then it is any real negative about the compressor itself or how well it works. Another complaint is that there needs to be a quick connect and disconnect on the end of the hose, so that tire pressure is not lost when disconnecting the hose from the tire valve.
