I’ve been using this flat iron for a few years now and love it. It’s held up well even after a few falls. The power switch can be difficult to toggle, so I usually leave it in the on position and just unplug it from the wall when I am done. Pleased with the varied levels of heat you can select.

I got this hair straightener recently to take on a trip overseas. Hoping not to have to spend a lot of money since I already have a very expensive straightener at home. After watching the videos for this and reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try. At the price I paid, I had very low expectations. I was however surprisingly impressed! I actually prefer this straightener to the other one! It runs through my hair as smooth as silk and never pulls.     • Hair glides without snagging
This flat iron is well worth the price. Heats up fast and glides smoothly over hair and leaves my hair nice and smooth. I’ve been looking to replace my amika iron since only one side is working and have tried several. Only complaint I have is the on/off switch seems a bit hard to turn on/off.

Bought this hair straightener because of the super cheap price; it was on sale for $10. I have wavy/curly hair. This straightener works great. So glad I bought it! It came with a rubber mat to protect surfaces from heat damage and acts as a storage case as well. Very satisfied.

Love the tangerine orange color, the sleek thin handles and the smooth glide execution. This was a great buy! Gets really hot and straightens the hair as I wanted. **and not to mention a hot glove and burn mat was included.

    • Exterior gets way too hot
First, I'm not a hair professional and not really into hair tools like a lot of people are. I use them occasionally, they do the job, fine by me. I don't order the trendy, spendy stuff. The basic brands are usually more than adequate. So I'm certain this is probably a really nice tool for those who are into it. It heats up really fast. It has 5 heat settings and I usually set mine around 350-400 because I have thick, curly hair. I've been using this at 350 and at that setting, the exterior gets so freaking hot that it could burn you. It doesn't get hot down around where you hold it. However, none of my other flat irons do this. They get warm, sure, but not hot enough to burn you. I only have two others, one is a really big one because I have so much very long hair and then I have a tiny travel one that I use for my bangs and my baby hairs, plus traveling. This one is small enough to get my baby hairs, but with those and my bangs I have to go over it multiple times because the plates don't grip it enough. I believe that's probably because of the floating plates. For the rest of my hair, I just have been putting in a bigger section than I normally would, but that means going slower in order for it all to get straight. That makes me worry that I'm doing too much heat damage. I ordered this because my old big one finally died, but I think I'll see if I can find it again somewhere.
