I've bought these beds for a few years in a row now. I usually only get 1 winters use because I have bad dogs and they like to chew the elastic connectors apart. After they do that I just move the cot part outside to the patio and they have nice summer outdoor beds also. If you have normal dogs these would last a long time. They trap the dogs heat so I can turn my heater off when I go to bed and not worry about the dogs being too cold or getting in bed with me. ... show more

My weimaraner loves her tent cot! I was worried that she would be too big but the large is perfect. She likes a den-like bed so I just place a throw partially over the door. Another plus is that the cot is easy to move and clean under. I’m very pleased with this purchase!

My dog did not like going into the tent. Be careful with the window feature as my dog decided to jump through it and got stuck! I plan to just use the base as a hammock type bed in the summer for my dog to keep him cool but unfortunately the tent part didn't work out that well for my dog.

My boy loves his house so far! He kept ripping the slip cover on his $300 bed so I decided to buy him something else. This works for now! The quality seems good. I wish the beams had slid into the hood as it would a tent.

    • Perfect escape for dogs who enjoy alone time

I orginally bought this because after adopting my pup from the shelter, I started to notice isolating behaviors. She loved to crawl underneath my roommates bed for some alone time. However, anytime she’d try to do the same in my bedroom, she couldn’t because I have storage under my bed. So I bought this as a way to give her her own space. This product does have to be put together, but it’s very easy to do so. The tent portion is detachable, and thank god, because once her bed was put together, she sniffed it out and was terrified of the tent. She refused to get in or even go near it (however, I think this is due to trauma before I got her). I detached the tent part, and after about 2-3 days, she was willing to sit and sleep on the bed. Once I feel like she won’t get deterred by the tent again, I’ll try to re-incorporate it back in. Overall, I absolutely love it. The material is very durable and really easy to clean. She’s 60lbs and we’ve had it for a few months now… still looks brand new. ... show more
