  • Great Sony to canon fd adapter
Size: FD-NEX
Great way to make use of Canon fd glass on a new Sony camera. Allows for open aperture while focusing and closing for the exposure. Works with any lens with Canon fd mount. Construction is good so there is no movement between camera and lens. Simply mount like any Sony lens and attach the fd or fl lens. ... show more

  • Best cheap adapter out there
Size: PK-NEX
Great quality, keeps the focal distance the exact same despite extending the lens out from camera.

  • Works like a charm
Size: FD-NEX
I purchase these over time and kept them on the Canon lenses. They fit just right and mate to the Sony body perfectly. No surprises, no disappointments. Great to reuse the vintage lens collection and save a ton of money at the same time.

  • Very well built, but inaccurate infinity focus.
Size: FD-NEX
This adapter was my latest in my quest to find an FD to E adapter that will truly focus to infinity. I have tried lots of different brands. All of them will focus to infinity with a lens 50mm or longer. Wide angle lenses are another story. I finally found one that worked with most lenses in the Fotasy PRO series. They are fine down to a 20mm lens. A 17mm lens is an issue for them. I bought several and some would just barely do it and some would just barely miss. I want one adapter per lens so I needed several. I wanted to KNOW it was right, so I tried this one. Let me start by saying the K&F adapter is the best built adapter I've tried. It fits the lens and camera perfectly. The aperture control is super smooth. When on a lens it feels as if it's an integral part of the lens itself. But can it hit infinity? The answer is yes, but with a slight problem. It goes past infinity by quite a bit. When the lens is properly focused on an object about 100ft away (which for the 17mm is pretty much infinity) the distance scale on the lens shows a touch over 10ft. It's not a lens issue as I have two of them they both show the same result. This could make using hyperfocal techniques difficult. But, it can focus to infinity so it's the one that is mounted on a 17mm at the moment. In conclusion, if you don't use the distance scale on your lens for anything this is the adapter to buy. It's decently priced, very well made, and will hit infinity with any lens. If you set your focus by using hyperfocal distance, then get the Fotasy Pro for anything 20mm or more. ... show more

  • Fantastic adapter with quick aperture stop down option
Size: FD-NEX
This is a great adapter that allows me to use a Canon FD 50/1.4 lens with my Sony a7s. Use the mechanism of your Canon FD lens to attach the lens to the adapter and make sure that the aperture/diaphragm control pin lines up appropriately with the mechanism for adjusting it on this adapter (it will feel like it has the correct "click" in when you do that and will easily mount). Once attached and placed on your camera, this adapter along with the Canon FD aperture open/closed feature allow you to focus wide open and then immediately close down to your desired f-stop using the "Lock <==> Open" ring on the adapter. That is a fantastic option to have for a manual focus lens and really assists with precisely positioning the focus point and with focusing in low light if you want to shoot stopped down. This feature alone, which I believe is unique to FD mount lenses, is a good reason to give preference to using FD lenses with the Sony a7 series. (My 35-70 zoom, however, is right now a Minolta, but this feature makes me think about using Canons also excellent 35-70 FD zoom). My first copy of this did have a significant amount of "play/wiggle" and eventually came undone. I should have contacted the seller (HiShop) immediately. I ended up contacting them via the "question about return" policy option *after* the return period had expired. They graciously replaced my adapter with a new one that works great and has no wiggle. I am very pleased with the product. ... show more

  • Weird lens? Get this adapter!
Size: M42-NEX
Works great with Mamiya Sekor 135mm f2.8 with the pin on the aperture ring. Clears the pin unlike some other adaptors. Threads are very nicely machined and fits right onto my a6000 without any movement.

  • Works prefectly with my Sony A7iii and a SMC Pentax-M 50mm F1.4 lens
Size: PK-NEX
My wife's grandfather gave us his old SMC Pentax-M 50mm F1.4 lens that we found at his house in Toronto. I put it away for a year and haven't thought about it. Eventually it was time for me to upgrade from my Canon 60D to a full frame, I decided to switch brands and go for the hip Sony mirrorless A7iii. I was so happy but became estatic when I realized there was a trend to use old manual lenses on mirrorless cameras. I did some research and found this K&F K Mount to Sony E-mount adapter. Makes me overall want to get more K-mount lenses! It works perfectly! It's all metal, feels so sturdy. The E-mount side and the K-mount side when attached to the body and lens respectively feel like a SOLID connection. There is no wobble or insecure feeling. In terms of use, it of course inherently requires you to use manual mode. There is no glass or electronics to this adapter because the lenses for K mounts did not have autofocus at the time. But using old school manual focus hand control you can get SHARP great photos. Peak focusing works great. ... show more

  • Decent, limited
Size: NIK(G)-NEX
Updated: Only 4 steps of adjustment. So each step is multiple stops depending the on the lens, especially macro. The widest apertures are actually beyond the first step and isn’t an actual position so it will easily roll into say f4-6 if you’re using a 2.8 or faster. I use D series and older specifically for this reason but had one lens that was a crop sensor 2.8G, will go with a simple adapter next time as this works but only barely and that lens has been replaced since buying this adapter. It has held up well and still functions as new despite being in the Texas wind and dirt. It does have a soft material on the interior for light absorption but it traps dirt and is hard to clean. Probably the same material around some sensors. It fits snugly and feels strong even with heavy metal and glass lenses attached to small cameras meant for plastic lenses. Used it on an a6000, 6400, and A7Sii without issue other than it not having enough adjustment range. It’ll do fine as a backup but going with fotasy next time. Get an autofocus adapter if you plan on using G lenses, this isn’t worth it for those. ... show more
