Product Reviewed: K&F CONCEPT NP-FW50 Battery Charger Set, 2-Pack 1100mAh Replacement Battery I own a Sony A6100 camera and this battery & charger set is perfect for my use. The K&F charger and battery set is really handy to have and makes things easy when charging either the K&F batteries or the original Sony batteries. It’s important to note that the only way to charge batteries for the Sony A6100 is to put them inside the camera then attach a Micro USB charging cable to the camera itself. While it works, I’ve always found this to be inconvenient. This charger includes ports for both USB-C and Micro USB. This is very handy since USB-C is more broadly available, but Micro USB is the type of port Sony shipped with almost all of their cameras. Either port is fine for charging, and both work well. A red light indicates a battery is charging and a green light indicates the battery is either fully charged - or there is no battery in the charging slot. The fact that the light is green if there is no battery in the slot means that you’ll also get a green light if your battery is not fully seated into the charging slot. If you make sure the batteries are firmly seated in the slot, you’ll have no problem at all. Performance: I charged both batteries to 100% then put one into my Sony A6100 to see how long it would record video. The description claims each battery will last 1.3 hours (1 hour 18 minutes) when shooting videos at 4K resolution and 25 fps. The first battery I tested with 1080p resolution at 24 fps and it lasted 2 hours, 4 minutes. I tested the second battery with 4K resolution at 24 fps with and it lasted 1 hour, 25 minutes. I consider these results consistent with the claims made for these batteries. Note: While the description doesn’t list the Sony A6100 as one of the models these batteries are compatible with, they are compatible with this Sony model. This isn’t surprising since the A6100 and the A6000 are very similar in design and features. ... show more
