I was really surprised when I saw K&F offering a monocular. Based on my past experience with the company I didn't know they made optics like this. I picked one up and was really pleased with the performance. Let me describe a few features and what I really liked. First off, the packaging was really nice. This felt like a premium product from the start with the unboxing. Inside the box there was the monocular, a nice case, a strap, and a user's manual. The monocular feels really good in the hands and is lightweight. You can operate the controls all with a single hand which I really enjoyed. Also, there is a small removable screw plug in the bottom of the body of the monocular which allows you to mount it to a tripod or other mounting points. I've used a mini-fluid head and a mini-ball head adaptor. I've found that hand holding is fine but this is a nice added option. The only negative I found was I wish the rear cover had an attachment strap so you could just flick it off and it would hang there. As it is now, there isn't such an option. Generally the optics are really great. Close range focus is a little challenging at times but if you use this for what its intended for, it does a great job. I'm really happy with it and have enjoyed using it.

I don't hunt and I don't professionally take photos, but my wife and I do travel a lot and we like to keep a monocular or binoculars in the car and our packs for checking out interesting things. This is perfect for us because we can use it with or without our glasses/sunglasses, it's small enough to carry around, and everything is crystal clear through it. Once we got use to its handling sensitivity, we couldn't have been happier about how easy it was to use and actually see what we were aiming for. We'd tried several other cheaper monoculars and they all had the same problem of fuzzy/blurry images and/or non-focus functionality. This piece has none of those and I can read license plates from distances I would have never thought. We don't use a tripod, although the option is nice, and the travel carry case is great. Literally just throw it in our pack or leave it in the glove box and we're good to go. This scope doesn't disappoint.

This K&F monocular gives a clear, easily-focused image at good magnification. The kit includes the lens covers and a lanyard as well as the cloth carrying/storage case for the monocular. I generally prefer binoculars, but was hoping to find something I could use with a tripod and my phone camera for some birdwatching photos, and this monocular handles that perfectly. Unscrewing the lanyard anchor uncovers a 1/4" tripod mount recess, and it mounted easily to my tripod (photo). I was able to focus my phone camera through the eyepiece and get some clear photos, though I'll have to find some way to connect the phone more firmly to the monocular. My only reservation is that the permanently-connected lens cover does tend to close itself and get in the way, not a major difficulty. Excellent quality, nice optics, and a good value at its price.

10 and 12X magnification is the usual norms for most G.P. (general purpose) optics; there are cheaper 12X units, but this isn't overpriced at 45$. Those 2 points of magnification is noticeable, using the 2 side-by-side will show. It is surprisingly light, I almost dropped it a couple times - put the lanyard on it right away is my tip there. That this will mount on a tripod is the most useful of its functions, kind of needs one almost really; I have a range-finger to pair this with so putting them both on the same stand may be a great plan, or a not-so-great idea - we'll see.

I ordered the scope for birdwatching and deer hunting. The 12x magnification and 50mm objective lens gives me a good field of view for the bird watching. The visibility has been good; however, the eyepiece rubber cover pulled the rubber off the eyepiece as well. Also, the cover for the big lens (front) is not flexible enough to stay out of the way while looking through. The 1/4″ tripod interface works well and can be used to hold scope down well.
