This is my 3rd Ranbomer single serve machine this year, the first one died after 6 weeks, the 2nd died within the 30 day return window. They make wonderful coffee, and look nice on the counter, and many people have good luck with them (that’s why I took a chance on unit #2). I had a K……. Single serve that lasted almost 2 years but they are twice the money and should really last longer IMO. The Ranbomer makes a delicious cup of coffee one morning and then the control buttons become unresponsive and the LEDs start flashing like an error message. Many have described the same problem, but for every buyer with a problem there are many who have no drama and just brew coffee day after day. When I saw it was available thru the Vine program I thought I’d give it another try. I noticed that my previous orders show NLA, so maybe this is a different model number. Hopefully with an improved control board. Anyway, I’m going to start with 3 stars, I’ll check back every month and edit my review, I’m hoping I can bump this up to 4-5 stars after it’s lived in my kitchen for awhile. ... show more

    • Dangerous. Scalding hazard!

Do not purchase. Could cause scalding injury! I ran several cups of water only through the machine to clean it with no issues other than the ergonomically problematic reservoir filling (lid in the way). I then used a name brand Kcup. At the end of the cycle the machine rapidly vented steam, explosively blowing the Kcup cover back in a cloud of hot steam. Had I been near I could have been badly scalded! As an aside, there were excessive grounds in the bottom of the cup…I threw it out. Now I’ll order the name brand. ... show more
