I bought two of these and BOY was I surprised when they showed up. The two boxes I received contained a bunch of planks of wood and a dozen or so screws. You can find a bunch of identical listings for this product using the same stock image with WD40 (wtf?) cans so I'm lead to believe these are some easily mass-produced CNC template you can download online. For ~$60 you receive a puzzle kit to assemble your own shelf. I was kinda expecting it more assembled. Also, the finish — there is technically a veneer of varnish, or lacquer, but it is only the suggestion of a wood finish. It was lightly sneezed onto the wood so if you thought "oh good, I need to assemble it myself, that means I can glue the joints for extra rigidity" then you will be sadly disappointed. The "joints" are cut out rather poorly, and in one of the racks I bought, the corners weren't cut out very well (see picture) and so the side panel wouldn't sit flush until I took a chisel and tried to even it out myself. Once again, not something I'd expect to have to do for $60. The wood is very brittle and cracks easily. The screw holes are pre-drilled and even when hand tightened they didn't seem to tighten down very far. This rack would seriously benefit from being glued together BEFORE screwing it together, but unfortunately because they varnished the boards before shipping them out, you would have to sand everything down first. I'll be honest I don't know how well these will hold up, but only time will tell. ... show more

Can’t find anything I don’t like about this setup. Fit my paints and a few rolls of painters tape and whatnot on top. Mounted to the wall, I now have more space to work with. Recommend.
