Received the two pack of 6’ cables for use on my car and travel trailers. When I opened the pack I was surprised on how well they were made and the size of the carabiner they included for connecting to the truck. Installation was super easy, just yanked out the old cable from the brake controller and plugged these right in. The oversized carabiner they included will clamp on to pretty much any hitch. I am glad I got the 6’ ones as they fit perfectly between my truck and the trailer without worrying about it dragging on the ground. I believe these will function better than the OEM brake cables for a fraction of the cost. A bonus was they were red to match my truck.

As others have said, these are very high quality and made of thick cable and the carabiner is probably over-sized. I love that it doesn't sag down like the stock one, I am always worried it will snag and it is hard to adjust.

Heavy duty, well made emergency brake/tow clip and chain. Great quality at a great price. Safety isn’t something that should be skimped on either. I also like that this isn’t a metal Wire as my last one was and some of it rusted.

I got the 6' ones and I recommend you do the same since it's coiled pretty short. I honestly thought these would be lightweight lanyards similar to the boat or ATV types but I was wrong. The cable is thick and the D-ring is huge! And the cost make these such a great value! I feel safer not having the old cable linked through the chain even though we all know you're not supposed to do that! I wonder how the coating will last in the UV rays outdoors but time will tell. Not that it matters - but it actually looks great on the enclosed trailer.

This is definitely a great quality cable, plug, and carabiner. In the picture I took, you can see how much thinner my old cable is. This cable is much thicker with a nice translucent cover. The plug fits right in to the socket on my camper. It’s coiled up nicely so it won’t drag or get caught while rolling down the road. At about $6.50 each in the two pack, the price is DEFINITELY right. I’m looking forward to using this on my travel trailer soon, and also replacing the one on my toy hauler.

Got this for my Forest River Popup that had a steel cable that would drag if you didn't rest it on top of the light cable. This this reaches my hitch without issue and has a great stretch to it. I did have to use my original pin for the trailers brake-away sensor but it was super easy to put on this new cable. The carabiner is heavy duty and nice, way better that the aluminum one my old one had that I was skeptical of working in the event my trailer came loose. For $10 this is a great upgrade for any travel trailer or camper.

I needed a 2nd Hopkins brake-away plug and this is the perfect replacement. My original has a somewhat thin coiled cable but looks weak, this has a very robust 1/8" vinyl coated steel cable that is connected to the plug and a very large steel carabiner with a snap latch, this is much stronger than the original Hopkins cable and the key fits perfect. My only issue is the length, if I stretch it the full 4 foot length, the cable is pretty taut, but if I leave it this way it should relax a bit.

I got a hitch extender and my old brake safety wire didn't reach. The JUSTTOP 6FT Breakaway Trailer Cable was exactly what I needed. It feels strong and should work well. I like the flexible coil as it shouldn't drag on the road.
