  • Super bright and great quality
Size: 48" Multi-Color Light Strip 360 LED
The LED tailgate strip from Mictuning was exactly what I was looking for. Super bright and the sequential turn signal design looks fantastic. Easy to install and simple to wire up. I purchased this product for the rear of my utility trailer for extra clearance lighting and reverse lights.

  • Very High Quality, but let it unravel for a day or so on its own
Size: 60" Solid Amber Turn Signal 504 LED
Had a slight bad odor, but I'm not gonna knock any stars off for that, its a light bar not a smell bar people. Light comes tightly wound, take it out of the box and place it in the sunlight let it unravel itself a little then place it on a flat surface and put something on top of it to force it to lay flat. This will help you exponentially when mounting. Also, prep your mounting area with a glass cleaner or better yet, isopropyl alcohol. This will ensure that your surface is as clean as free of any contaminates and can bond properly to the paint. Adhesive is TOP NOTCH, I didn't even use the brackets. I started lightly pressing the light bar to mock up the location to see if it was level, and when i went to peel it off it was already incredibly sticky and hard to pull off after BARELY pressing the light bar on. It has to be 3M adhesive or better, but doesn't say 3M on the backing tape. Every single LED works as far as I can see. I think some of the people who had problems with dead lights took it out and tried to stretch it flat immediately, which is bound to cause the PCB to crack or splint. Top notch light bar to say the least Plenty bright Easy install High quality wire and construction NOTE: If you are attaching to a truck with a trailer plug, you can tap into that wiring harness instead of tapping your taillight for the backup light. ... show more

  • 2020 F-250 Awesome Light
Size: 60" Solid Amber Turn Signal 504 LED
With a little bit of work I can make this work on my 2020 F-250 Superduty. So owners of 2020 Ford super duty’s this is how you can install it on yours- I bought a four flat connector splinter, 3M auto molding tape, flat aluminum stock. Before buying I called my local custom shop and they told me they could only put one on the bottom edge of the tailgate which would look pretty stupid. Before buying I called my local custom shop and they told me they could only put one on the bottom edge of the tailgate which would look pretty stupid And all the rain, sun and winter muck would run on top of it and the 3m tape. That’s just a bad choice and not an option plus they want it over 300 bucks to do with that cheesy way. That’s just a bad choice and not an option plus they want it over 300 bucks to do with that cheesy way. When your light comes first plug in your four Flat connector on your bumper to make sure it works correctly then once you know what side is your left turn signal and right turn signal which is the wire that goes into the LED light would be your light bar left side the side with no wires would be the right side. So I mounted it between the bumper and the tailgate inside on the metal frame that you’ll see where this light should be mounted but For the F2 50 there’s a black cosmetic panel in the center held on by two security screws that you remove. The F-250 s there’s a black cosmetic panel in the center held on by two security screws that you remove. You can get a security screw bit set on Amazon or Harbor frieght. Then look at the second picture is just flat aluminum stock that they sell at Menards, Lowes, Home Depot type places. The LED light is three-quarter inch width, so I just bought flat aluminum stock I believe it was 7/16“ wide. It’s aluminum so it won’t rust plus you can easily cut it with a hacksaw in 30 seconds. The 3M molding tape is in the third picture The 3M molding tape is in the third picture On the 2020 F2 50 once you remove the black plastic cosmetic cover in the center area then off to the right you’ll see a small aluminum black bracket that catches the tailgate in the down position leave that in place. Cut your aluminum stock to fit that area that the light bar will go. The aluminum stock came in 4 foot lane so I bought two pieces. The aluminum stock came in 4 foot length so I bought two pieces. I use one 4 ft piece nd cut two pieces total that completed that area. A 4 ft piece and a cut piece for the large area and then one small piece on the other side of that black aluminum bracket you’ll see on your F-250 truck on the right side area. Use denatured alcohol or rubbing alcohol clean the area and the aluminum stock and then use the 3M molding tape and attached to the aluminum stock and then attach to the area just above the bumper black plastic Top of bumper and the bottom edge of tailgate that visual line in those areas. I also used a heat gun in that area on the metal just warm it up a little bit because of the cold weather and then attached. After that get your light-bar and use a hair dryer or heat gun on my kitchen table to warm it up so I can get to the point where is laying flat. I placed a small weight on one end and I heated things up slowly until I could lay it flat on the table. And then just use the four flat splitter into the bumper connector tucked behind the license plate to the backside of the bumper connected the lightbar to that and then you have the other extra for flat for future use and the install was complete. And then just use the four flat splitter into the bumper connector tucked behind the license plate to the backside of the bumper connected the lightbar to that and then you have the other extra four flat plug for future use and the install was complete. Another tip I used rubber grommets the type for wires or get a black plastic spacers from the hardware store or you could use some flat washers to use as a spacer behind the license plate screws to give it a little bit of a gap to tuck the four flat wire behind the plate and then up over the backside of the bumper to make it look neat and clean. I also used dielectric grease and all the connectors to help combat moisture in the water from damaging the connectors. Are use electrical tape on the four flat connectors besides the one that plugs into the bumper but again use dielectric grease on it all of them. Everything on my F2 50 super duty work fine no Dash issues seen Trailers connected or anything plus by using the splitter when you need a Ford flex connector I don’t need to unplug it from the bumper the light bar I can just use the second for flat connector that’s now slightly underneath the bumper this point. Ive owned several trucks and every truck, I make sure an LED light bar gets installed mainly for safety reasons to save the hassle of a drunk driver or drug driver or a distracted driver from rear ending you and trying to minimize that chance. That way you’ll have the headache of dealing with insurance companies or people without insurance or damage to your expensive truck again it will help minimize the odds of that happening. Hope this helps somebody I did it myself for less than 60 bucks including the lightbar compared to the custom shop that wanted to do with the cheesy way on my tailgate for over $300. ***Update after driving all day, the light bar being plugged into the F 250 4 flat bumper / trailer connector causing truck dash to say trailer connected or disconnected as driving or stopping. Online forums say can't use the trailer connectors or trailer wiring. Say to hard wire to taillight wiring to remedy issue. That will be next. The light bar comes with an extra 4 flat plug with wires to do just that............................... ... show more

  • Love the Lights, can't stand the Dings!
Size: 60" Solid Amber Turn Signal 504 LED
This is my second purchase of due to the first set not working. I tested the first set by plugging it into the four prong plug on the truck and they worked fine. Decided to hard wire them in and got two of the wires crossed, no longer working (my fault). On the second set, I was very meticulous with the wiring and went to the back side of the seven pin using the female plug that was provided with the set (just in case I needed to disconnect it later). After a few hours (probably should have lowered the spare tire) the job was looking like it came that way. Everything tested fine and the lights look fantastic. Unfortunately, the trucks smarter than me, or so it thinks. It now thinks that there is a trailer attached, and DINGS every time I start the truck, use the turn signals, or step on the brakes. It lets me know that a trailer is connected, that the trailer is disconnected, that the right turn lamp is at faulty, the left is faulty, and a few other messages that I don't remember. Of course, with every message comes a DING.On an average twenty mile trip, probably Dings thirty times. I have yet to plug in a trailer, and will probably un-tape and un-plug the four-pin plugs under the truck before I try plugging in a trailer. I'm afraid of overloading the circuits somehow. Anybody who has experienced this issue and has a solution? Overall, I love the lights, but sadly, unless I can figure out a simple work around, I'll probably do away with them. 2018 F-150 Platinum Package ... show more
