I'm typically a 18/20 2x, but I ordered a 3x. I'm 5'4" about 250 and carry weight in my tummy. I was looking for a light jacket to wear to the gym that wouldn't overheat me. And also a replacement go to hoodie. For 13$ this light weight jacket feels like a steal. I wore it outside all day this memorial day weekend and never felt hot! It's great for layering and I LOVE the color. The whole thing is lighter than one of my typical t-shirts. I'm seriously considering ordering one in blue since I need more color in my wardrobe. I will say that it felt like it shrank a touch after washing. So if you're between sizes you're better off ordering up!

Wow the first light sweater I have bought that fits so nice! This zip up style sweatshirt is light weight, roomy, great length with arms that actually have room; a problem with most plus size long sleeve anything. I am so happy that I bought two of these. I do advise washing before wearing as it does "shed" at first, washing took care of that problem and softened it up. It did shrink a little but I wanted it to and dried it on high. I highly recommend this sweatshirt to others especially those needing plus size.

I LOVE IT!!! I’m not a “hoodie” girl but am a bigger girl and was going on vacation where I needed a light black sweater. Well, every sweater I tried on in a store was too tight on my arms and I was frustrated. I ordered this on a wing and a prayer. It arrived on time and was perfect for me. The black matched everything and for our dressy casual dinners it was great for wearing over my tops that had fuller sleeves that would have bulked up under a sweater. The zipper is black and was covered enough so it seemed dressier too! And it has pockets!!! It’s amazingly comfortable and fits perfect and true to size for me. I’m now going to look into other colors since I love it so much.

I saw previous comments mention that this hoodie ran a bit small, so I sized up accordingly. I wear a size 1XL-2XL comfortably, and prefer a baggier fit, so I just went for the largest size this hoodie is available in. For the price, it is definitely worth the cost. Considering it is a "Jersey Hoodie", I understood before buying that the fabric would be thinner (more like a t-shirt) and that the sleeves would fit a bit tighter on my forearms (like a shirt, again). It zipped up fine, the fabric is super soft and not see-through in the slightest, and the 5XL was perfectly baggy on me just as I wanted. For the cost, it can't be beat, in my opinion.

I bought this exact same item at a Hanes/Just My Size store a few years ago and loved it. It is getting a bit used looking so I found this one, exactly the same, or so I thought. This new one is a bit thinner, the quality is not quite as good and the sizing runs smaller. Too bad, it seems most everything changes from a couple of years to less quality, etc. for the exact same item. I am going back to my original strategy - if I really like something, buy two or three immediately as they will not be the same ever again. I know the new jacket I just bought will not last like the one I already own, so sad. Dont understand companies.

TL;DR: Nice color, good general fit, snug through the length of the sleeve, unlikely to be able to layer over anything heavier than a tshirt. This is one of three items I received today. It is the only one that is exactly the material I expected. The material is definitely sweatshirt material - a smooth finish on one side, and slightly fuzzy on the other. Another hoodie-style 'jacket' I ordered (linked below) was listed as a sweatshirt but is really a heavier t-shirt type material. The color is as advertised, and a nice vivid shade, also. I'm 5'5", with a large bust, belly, and butt. The hem hits pretty exactly at my hips. My hands in the pockets are at and below my waist. I am very pleased with the quality of the hem and seam finishing. The zipper worked fine with no problems mating the start or zipping up. My main problem with it is the sleeves. They are a snug-but-not-tight fight from my large, heavy, upper arms through to my average size wrist. Putting this on over a long-sleeved shirt would be an exercize in frustration, and pulling the shirt sleeve back in place under the jacket sleeve. The cuffs are about 4 inches long, and when folded back over themself exactly puts the end of the sleeve exactly at the bone-bump of my wrist. My fingertips also have an odd slick feeling from handling the item directly out of the plastic bag. I expect this may be some finishing remnant, and will be washing this item before I wear it. If that continues, I will be back to comment. Compared to the two other items I received today, Women's Plus Size Hooded Sweatshirt Jacket Cape Style (5XL, Fuchsia Rose) and Triple9shop Women's Button-side Front Pocket Poncho Cardigan (Burgundy) , is a bluer shade of purple; I expect it would work well under the Poncho, but I won't be able to layer it with the lighter weight 'sweatshirt jacket' due to both fitting closely, and the variant hemline.

I bought two of these and they are just perfect for summer wear, or under a zippered vest when the weather gets cooler. I bought this one and another one in the orangey color. Both colours are beautiful and vivid… I especially like this turquoise blue! It's my fault for not doing this when I ordered, but just so you know: when buying compare your measurements to their **size chart**, don't go by the standard sizing. I ordered 3X because that's what I always wear, but on the collar of the item, you see they identifiy 3X as equivalent of 22-24 ladies sizes. I know that 22 is too small for me. I'm going to order a couple of more, but I will upsize that to 4X. I just love Just My Size for their fun and well fitting items for us larger women , ranging from intimate apparel to outer-wear! And their prices don't bilk us for being outside the "normal" off-the-rack sizing - very affordable!
