I bought this specifically for a 5 day face down recovery period after retina surgery. It seems sturdy enough, adjusts to different positions fairly easily, and comes with a storage bag for keeping out of the way when not in use. Unfortunately, it did not serve me well. Bought for my pregnancy to help with sciatica pain. If the seat was adjustable to move farther away from the center bar this would be perfect but it’s only angle adjustable and not distance from the center adjustable. Also the seat could be a bit bigger for more comfort. My husband also got on it to see how it works for him and well.... same thing, he needs it farther from the center bar to avoid smashing his lower extremities. I’m kinda sad as I was looking forward to this and was really hoping it would work but it’s just to small. It’s made for smaller and non pregnant people. Just for reference we are both in the lower 200s for weight. Me being 8 months pregnant (and my belly is small for 8months) and he’s got a lot muscle due to his line of work so we are not fat by any means. ... show more

    • Screws come loose easily
I like the chair. It's sturdy and it's going on over a year since I had it but the screws have gotten really loose and the headrest came apart. It was sitting in the closet so I'm not sure how this happened. I have had to keep tightening the screws for the bottom knee rest. I would give this a three out of five ratings. ... show more
