Super soft. I'm a bit bummed the green isn't quiet like my screen showed. It reminds me of those grinch costumes lol. If it were a tad darker or more true green, it would be prefect. Using it to act as grass so it'll do.

The green is not grassy field green. It is off green, like a post-it note. When first opened, the rug has a strong repugnant smell. Thankfully it dissipates in three days.. The rug has a very soft backing and is machine washable. I just wish the color was more realistic.
