Used this box to house wire connections for my well pump. Fittings screw in well. Since the wire used was a flat cable (ufb-10), I sealed the outside of the fittings with silicone caulk. Seems to be working as the well pump is working.

I've had my electronic device protected by this box for over a year now, and it is still strong and not brittle from the constant sun damage. I live in Arizona, so that says a lot. The water proof plugs hold up great during rain and storms too, everything stayed dry.

the ONLY poblem is that the holes will NOT accodadte the ends of a have duty extention cord so there for it is NOT practical for decorating outside for the holidays where a outdoor extention cord that is wether proof is required or for any use outdoords during bad wether that would cause the extention cords pluge to get wet or freez from gggetting ice cold during the winter seasion unfortunetly whitch migt be a problem at a contstruction sight for exzampale. ... show more
