I will never go back to the standard hoops for my Brother Embroidery Machine. These magnetic hoops are fantastic. They save me a lot of time trying to get the fabric just right onto a standard hoop. The magnets are extremely tough. They hold on very well. No way that your fabric will move at all from the placement you have chosen. Try once and you will not want to use the old standard hoops. I've bought several of these hoops because I noticed that Brother was offering hoops with multiple magnets vs. a hoop entirely one magnet. I like the convenience of multiple magnets and have found this hoop accurate, easy, and much more affordable.

    • Not great for edge to edge quilting
I bought this thinking it would work well for edge to edge quilting and be easier to use than the standard hoop. Wrong. Because there is no upper hoop, it is impossible to line up because the only piece is underneath. The magnets work well and I bought the extras, so that isn’t a problem. Unfortunately, as expensive as the DIME Snap Hoop Monster hoops are, they would be more worth the value, as you’d have the top magnetic frame for visible positioning. I would return this if it wasn’t already out of the time limit, because it won’t do what I bought it for. Just made a baby quilt and it took 25 hoopings to edge to edge quilt it. 🤦🏻♀️ ... show more
