Having a second one allows me to get it set up and ready to go while the other is on the embroidery machine. I needed embroidery hoops in different sizes and for the price these worked well. The only issue I have is with the way they fit into the machine. Once you get the hang of how they go on it makes the process easier. It is hard to explain, but I had to push the tabs to get it to click into place.
