  • Protection for our hot tub
Color: Beige Size: 10x9.2x7.55 FT
We use this for our hot tub and it is so easy to set up. The canopy we had before lasted less than a year, so I am hoping that this will last much longer. We'll see?

  • Setup and Takedown Take Too Long
Color: Beige 1 Size: 12x11x7.55 FT
We camp often and currently use an instant-up canopy. It’s a bit bulky and still takes some effort to put up, so we wanted to try this VEVOR pop up screen house to give us more room, add an extended awning to cover the path from our tent to the canopy, and hopefully make setup and takedown easier. It accomplished two of those three goals. The space inside is excellent. The 12 x 11 footprint feels roomy and easily fits multiple chairs and a table without feeling cramped. The extended awning is a really nice feature and does provide extra covered space, which was helpful when moving between the tent and the screen house. The 360 degree mesh keeps bugs out well, and airflow is great. The materials are excellent quality; the tent material feels durable, the zippers work seamlessly, and once fully assembled, it feels stable and secure. The curved roof design is also a smart design to help with water runoff. There is a good amount of attention to detail, and I particularly appreciate the reinforced end on the pole carrying bag. Where it fell short for us was setup and takedown. It was much more time consuming than we anticipated. Getting all the poles in place on top takes some effort, and taking them down isn’t especially quick either. We’re used to pitching tents with poles, so this wasn't new for us, but it’s definitely not a true “seconds” pop up. It wasn't too difficult to fold it back into circular shape when following the instructions; however, the nature of how it needs to be folded means that it will be up against the floor and you and it will get quite dirty in the process. It’s also not realistic to do this as a one person job. As much as we like the concept and the extra space it provides, as well as the quality and value it provides, the added setup and take-down time means we’ll likely skip bringing this canopy on our next trip. It works well once up, but it’s not as fast or simple as we had hoped for frequent camping use. ... show more

  • So far so great!
Color: Beige Size: 15x13.8x8.04 FT
So far this has been great! I set it up alone. It was a little unwieldy, but possible. I do recommend two people for a much easier time.

  • wind advisory
Color: Beige Size: 12x11x7.55 FT
I want to like this screen house more than I actually do like it. For a 12x11 pop=up, it does store in a small, flat footprint and it is lighter weight than I was expecting. When you get this out of the bag, just be ready for the snap before you remove the retaining strap. Once you remove the retaining strap, the tent walls want to immediately expand, so just be prepared to step away, let go, and just pick the thing up from the ground where you dropped it. For actual set up, one person can get this up but there will be frustration and adult language involved; a two person set up makes things much easier. While the walls snap into shape as soon as you get it out of the bag, it takes some effort to achieve the octagonal shape. Deploying the roof poles helps everything get into shape, but the tent is not going to be quite right until you get it staked into position. All told, set up is not as easy and takes much longer than I was expecting. (For reference, we do a lot of camping with a variety of kit from 10 person cabin tents to 1 person trekking pole tents - I'm not a novice to setting up this stuff). Once the tent is up, it has a lot of space. We got this with the intent of using it while truck camping as our favorite spot at the river is often overrun by bugs, so a screened in tent space is attractive. With this screen house, we can easily set up chairs for 6 (our normal camping crowd), a couple coolers, camp table, and food case without being cramped. I would prefer a larger door and for a tent of this size, two doors should really be the standard. The fact that this screen house is quite light is also a problem when the wind kicks up. We get regular high winds and the walls flex, sometimes quite a lot. If you only use this in pristine weather, you may never have an issue, but we are all-weather campers and we often use a pavilion to get out of wind and rain. So, wind presents and issue, and if you combine wind and rain, as we just had, you will get splashing through the mesh. On the up side, the roof design does keep water from pooling on top We are ordering side panels for this tent to provide more shelter from the elements and I'm quite interested to see how they enhance the experience. My final comments for this thing all come down to the takedown. Taking this tent down and trying to fold it up to stow it back in the bag is... frustrating. The instructions give you an idea of how to refold the walls, but my wife and I still fought the thing for a bit to get it back into the bag. Honestly, if I only based my rating on set up and take down, this would be 2 stars at most, but once it is up, this is a good screen house. Overall, I think the functionality and size are good. Just be aware that this is not particularly easy to set up or take down, especially if you are shorter in stature. ... show more
