Love that I can make bigger designs using the repositional hoop with my PE570!! It's perfect for what I plan to make.

So there's some confusion about the purpose of these hoops, especially among those of us who own machines that can only sew patterns up to 4x4, and I thought it important to give my input on the discussion. No, the larger hoop won't convince your machine it can sew larger patterns. But what it can do, is allow us to hoop a larger area, so we don't have to re-hoop (think monograms, right???) All we need to do is reposition after each section (that gives us at least 3 positions to connect to the machine.) For me, that means my wonderful Brother PE535 will be able to larger patterns, as long as I separate the sections into separate files. No, I don't suggest trying to match stiches, but for separate entities, such as letters, OMG, no more discoveries of initials being off just enough to notice. We already know the smallest hoop works (look at the back of the manual, and it's listed as an option.) Come to find out, the smaller we can hoop, the better the result, because there's less to have to immobilize. Hope I helped here. The ad is not misleading. At All. PS - Thank you for offering this at such a great price!!!
