I really like this coffee, but it is even more enjoyable to know that by purchasing it I am supporting to women in Kenya who labor to produce it for me. I am very familiar with the area where Kenyan coffee is produced as I visit there every summer to do volunteer work. The people are gracious and friendly despite the economic challenges in Western Kenya that makes things so difficult for them. I love this business model. It's wonderful. The owner's story is especially inspiring knowing where she came from. Honestly, I don't know how she did it given the barriers. Thank you!

Decided to add a treat to my already delicious coffee. First I tried this coffee 100% by itself and it fit my flavor profile great. I do enjoy my coffee more on the robust side like S. Dark Roast. So I tried some mixed in (50/50) with my dark roast and it gave it a more interesting flavor. Now I’m willing to try more flavors from Kahawa. It was true to the tasting notes on the package.
