I needed a couple stabilizers then I found this kit that has the four main stabilizers, embroidery thread, bobbin thread and embroidery scissors. For just a little bit more than the cost of two competitor stabilizers, I was able to get everything needed to embroider. These are all quality products. I’ve used three of the stabilizers with no problems. The threads are the same makeup as other embroidery threads and they work well in my Viking machine. ... show more

This is a nice starter set for a beginner. It has a sampling of stabilizers and tread so you can get your feet wet with a couple of simple projects. I would recommend this.

I really want to give this kit a 5 star rating it comes with everything you need to start embroidering, however; The cd that is advertised to come with numerous templates does not work. I've tried two different machines and neither recognize the disc :(. I debated on this kit and another kit and ended up purchasing this one due to the free templates that were included. :( I can't seem to find a way to contact the seller. ... show more

I bought this as I am new to machine embroidery and wanted a kit that gets me started. And this got really good reviews, so I gave it a try. It has been great. I have used the stabilizers and some thread so far (still learning) and they have worked as advertised. The thread colors are beautiful and worked well in my machine. The only two downsides I have had so far are some of the threads were difficult to start (the little starter thread was non existent, but I asked a question and got an answer and the seller offered to replace the thread if I could not start them, nice touch) and I am not sure what weight stabilizers are included (there are no light, medium or heavy designation on them), this would have been handy. But overall, I find that this is a really nice starter kit. ... show more

My husband night some a second hand brother SE400 and I have just gotten to try the embroidery part of the machine. With Machine embroidery there is a lot of supplies you need to get started and this bundle has everything you need to practice ! The color choices are nice and performed well. The cure scissors are sharp, has extra machine needles and the top 3 stabilizers to get you started that are easy to cut to size for a 4x4 hoop.
