Zack's last mat was much smaller than this one. The size is good, but I wish I'd gotten a larger one. This works fine and catches Zack's litter. The color is pretty. It's easy to clean, just dump out the litter it catches.

I have a little robot and this Mac is right where my cat exits the literal box so it captures most of all the litter that comes from the residual of her feet. I would really recommend this easy to clean easy to empty out any litter that gets trapped the grooves on it, allow all the litter from the cats feet to effectively be transferred into the Mat. you can literally pick up and shake out litter easily as it has an opening on one side and the material you can stick in the washer or hose it down however you choose to wash it

Does this mat trap litter? Yes, very well Is this mat water/urine proof? Yes Can you get the smell out of the mat? Not at all. One of our cats decided to pee on the mat, okay no problem, it's waterproof. I cleaned the mat with soap and an enzyme cleaner. They peed on it again. Cleaned it again. This time I smelled it after cleaning and it still smelled like urine. I cleaned it again. Still smelled a little. I put it down anyway since the smell wasn't obvious. They peed on it again. I removed the mat and replaced it over a week ago. Haven't had any incidents since. I really wanted to like this mat but if I can't get the urine smell out it defeats the purpose.

This litter mat works really good. it catches the majority of litter being dragged out (apart from whatever gets stuck in her paws) and it is super easy to open it and dump the leftover litter back in the box. It is a pretty thick material so my cat hasn’t been able to rip it or anything in the month we’ve had it. Very pleased with this mat:)
