I've been in love with Lancome mascara since I was a teenager (20+ years ago). I've tried lots of other mascaras and nothing ever came close. I am now a convert to Julep. It's priced affordably, it doesn't flake or smudge (especially important for us contact wearers), and it does exactly what it says it'll do, lengthen and volumize. They're not quite falsie long, but I hate how fake falsies look to begin with. This makes my lashes look as good as they did when I was a teenager. That, to me, is priceless.

I've been searching for years for a lengthing mascara that works as well as the old (and sadly discontinued) Cover Girl Lash Blast Length. This is it!! I have very sensitive, dry eyes, and any mascara that goes on too thick with clumps is just too heavy and irritates my eyes all day. This one provides the length I want, but goes on a bit dry (not TOO dry) so no clumps attach to the lashes. It is buildable though, so if I want more volume, I can put on more coats. If you are looking for length over volume, give this one a try!

Application is wonderful, they actually use an awful model for the product. This makes my lashes super long like thrive. The only downside is I feel it smudges a bit.

I see a lot of people saying this runs too much or is clumpy. This is my third time purchasing this mascara after years of trying to find one I liked it. I'm a waitress who is in and out of a hot kitchen all day sometimes for 10 hour shifts. I have no clue why it smudges or runs with other people but I have never had that problem. It goes on great. It builds well. And I love the applicator/brush. My lashes dont work with the super bristly type wands so I love that this one is not in any way a fluffy wand. This will probably be my favorite for a long time. They did just change the look of the product and havent updated the picture so dont be surprised when you receive a mauve colored tube instead of the previous dark chrome look. It seems to be the exact formula just with a new look.

I liked the way the mascara went on my lashes but as soon as used my eye drops it ran onto my lower lids. Great if you don’t have dry eyes and need to use eye drops.

I thought I would try this because I love juleps eyeshadow so much and the mascara is great. It really does separate and elongate eye lashes and feels like I have nothing on at all. No clumps or heaviness.

This is the worst mascara I’ve ever bought I think…it is GLOBBY, it sheds when I sweat during the day, (little dust on my face), and don’t you dare try to go swimming with it on. You’ll look like a straight raccoon. - I understand it isn’t waterproof, but the non-waterproof mascara I’ve used in the past has never been this bad.
