I'm very happy with this serger. It is easy to use, the documentation is good, threading is a lot easier than the Brother serger I purchased and then returned. One helpful feature is the ability to move the knife out of the way to surge without cutting. If you mess up and have to go over the seam again, you can do so without cutting off more fabric. It feels solid, yet is easy to carry. I'm looking forward to more projects with this serger and only wish I hadn't waited so long to get one.

This machine is sewing really nice. I make a lot of wild rags with a rolled hem. Doing a really nice job so far. I haven't had it very long so we will see how it holds up.

I love this serger! I am 43 and have been sewing with a single needle machine since I was 10. I have used sergers before, but have never owned one, or threaded one. To be honest I was scared! I have been thinking about getting one for several years now, and after research and my positive experience with Juki industrial machines, I settled on this machine. I am so pleased!!! It came threaded with a short lengths of thread tied off to the pressure foot control knob. I was able to thread the machine intitially by tying the ends of the cone thread I purchased to the ends of the pre threaded strands and gently running them through. It serged a beautiful 4 thread safety stitch. I carefully studied the manual and the book "The Complete Serger Handbook" by Chris James (which I purchased separately), and spent a few hours watching the included DVD and threading and re threading the machine. It was not NEARLY as difficult as I had feared! I also tried the rolled hem, a 3 thread flat lock, and the 2/3 thread converter all with success! I also was able to perform a t-shirt alteration for a very tall young man who can't find t-shirts long enough, except in sizes too big for him. I took in the sides of his too-big t-shirt and now he has a shirt that is a comfortable fit. I love this machine and absolutely recommend it!

This is a quality machine. It was tested and a sample was produced on it prior to shipment. The company presets all the settings so it works out of the box. I have not unthreaded and rethreaded the machine yet because it came pre-threaded. I tested it a few times and it works beautifully. I truly love this machine.

After 3 months, I still cannot obtain nice stitch quality, using a variety of good quality threads. The tension is all over the place. Sadly I cannot afford to replace, and I'm past the return date.

This is my first serger. Love the performance. Threading was a challenge at first, however the machine was marked for easy threading. Once I understood the upper/ lower looper and watched on line videos quickly found the user errors.

I was considering sergers with air thread technology but I chose this serger for the quality and reasonable price. Glad I did. This little serger is easy to thread and meets my needs.

I love this serger!!!! It is very easy to thread and pretty quiet compared to other sergers. Serges extremely well. Should have purchased this machine a long time ago. Juki are the best.
