    • Great machine with small footprint
I was thrilled at receiving this coverstitch machine with such fast shipping. Juki is great at everything it makes. I have 3 industrial juki machines and was hesitant to buy a home machine because it might not perform as well. It does very well at a great price. I had read reviews for weeks on coverstitch machines and believe this is the best one for the money. I’m still learning it, but it is intuitive and is easy so far. The seller wasn’t the first one that popped up when I searched for this machine, but I looked at the other sellers list and chose this seller due to being a seller that sold sewing machines as a business. I avoid buying from sellers that sell everything even though they don’t know the products. Happy so far and probably wont need to contact the seller, but glad they will know what i might need when I call! ... show more

If you do a lot of knits. It’s worth it. A clean, quick, simple finish on a knit is under rated. It feels weird because I use my other machines a loooot. This one I only use it for the very end of the project to finish up the hem. But it has mad that step less stressful, quicker, and cleaner. Juki did again. This was a surprise present from my husband. It does what is suppose to do. But to thread it? Geez...but I am learning. It is a very good machine.

Great entry-level coverstich! Very easy to use contrary to the brother 2340. Once you lift the foot, it release the tension of the wires and it only takes 5 seconds to remove your fabric from the machine. Solid machine and makes quality stitches. Love it!

No dislikes other than I should have bought this earlier! This is a great addition to your sewing room! I will say it’s not necessary to have one but it comes in handy especially if you want to sew underwear or t-shirts! Easy to follow instructions and tons of video’s you can find on the internet!     • Good Machine but needs YouTube in English to show how to thread it correctly.
I recently purchased this machine. It works great, but it took me a lot of trial and error to get it threaded properly. The machine came threaded but the tread wasn't on a spool, it only was threaded. It was cumbersome with threads hanging all over the place and I didn't get a good view of what the proper pattern was. It didn't match up with the book in my opinion. I had a lot of breakage and seams that didn't take at all. I am still struggling with learning how to properly thread it. Unfortunately, the only YouTube videos that are available on this machine are only in Japanese. I could follow it to some extent but I struggled to get it right. I went to the seller and there was a technician who could talk with me on the phone but couldn't do a screen share. It's nearly impossible to understand how to thread a machine if the person showing you can't see what you are doing right. I also haven't been able to find any FB Groups for this machine yet. I understand it's very new and that might be why. But, after a lot of work to get it to work, I think I have figured it out. I hope that JUKI American creates a YouTube series on this machine so I can learn how to use it properly ... show more
