She needed a warm jacket since we have had more rain and cold weather this year. I searched carefully at stores nearby and on Amazon and this was a standout. Most puffer jackets look like big marshmallows but this puffer actually has a defined waist, so the fit is flattering. It is long enough to keep her dry if she sits down on a wet bench outside, it is lined with soft fabric, it has a hood with furry black trim to keep her head warm and dry in the wind or rain and to keep her waist length hair tucked in, and she likes the coziness of the hidden zipper under the gold button front. The stunning gold buttons on the black jacket impressed her with the Juicy Couture extra touch of style. She is tall for age nine at 4'10 and 77 pounds. The size 10/12 is a perfect fit with plenty of length in the arms for next year, too. She is going onto a competitive gymnastics team and she is seeing what older girls wear, so she is starting to want stylish looks that aren't babyish.
