I have an incredibly smart English Shepherd, but she’s also extremely protective in nature. My neighbor got a new dog and she is so mean to her it just made me uneasy. So I ordered this training collar and it is honestly the best thing I’ve ever done. I beep the device before using the vibrate setting and she responds immediately to the beep. It helps me maintain control in potentially stressful situations. I have only had to use the shock one time and from then on, she knows when the collar goes on that she needs to behave. Barking is at a minimum, her response to other dogs and people is tolerable, and her behavior has done a 180. I give her lots of exercise and stimulation, so this was the only missing link. I hope it lasts me a while, but I’m stoked with the results!

This is for people that know how to use an ecollar. Not for beginners. That being said, I always test it on myself first. Let me tell you that #1 shock setting on my neck was enough to shoot to my arm. I can handle #5. That being said, I will never use the shock setting on my dog, as the vibrate feature is enough. I have a very excitable dog that would not stop jumping on people no matter what I trained her. I tried it on her with treats and vibrate setting on 1. Everytime she jumped I paired it with the word "off" and hit the vibrate at the same time and treated her right after with some praise. I no longer have a dog that jumps on people. I highly recommend. Always use the lowest setting and introduce your dog to it first with positive reinforcement. Sometimes #1 vibrate is just enough. Holds a good charge and is very durable. 5 stars. Hopefully I can phase out from using this as we develop good habits and some manners.

This is a really good product. I love that it has different modes and it is really good for training and I feel like it’ll last very long. The thickness of the collar is very nice. It does not hurt the dog at all. The charging speed is very good. It charges really fast. I love that.
