So I know It has a good review, that's why I bought this one as well. But my experience was not that great. It broke down after one week of of using it. ATM I was making a cover sheet for my sofa and I was disappointed this wont even lasted for two weeks. I am no novice for sewing machine. I had both used of electric and manual (with pedal). Well I guess the next time I needed to use sewing machine, I'd rather chose the one that lasted for at least a year.

I thought with all of the 5 star reviews & low price point this would be a safe bet for my 9yr old to learn on. I am an experienced seamstress, and even I am having trouble with this machine. Bottom thread will not draw up because bobbin doesn’t turn at all. Once I finally was able (the one time I was able) to get the bottom thread drawn up, and tried even simple stitching, the machine kept getting jammed, and the stitching looked like crap. Unfortunately we missed our return window because it was purchased as a birthday present & sat in a box on the shelf for 2 months before her bday.
