I cannot use LED or fluorescent lightbulbs at home, both give me a headache. I ordered these to put in my bedside lamps. I love the yellow light they give off, not overly bright early in the morning or late at night. These bulbs are perfect for rooms or light fixtures where bright light is not needed. I recommend replacing LEDs and fluorescent bulbs with incandescent ones whenever possible, especially if the others cause issues for you. These were a great price ($18.49 or $3.08 per bulb) especially since you can't find incandescent bulbs in the stores anymore. ... show more

I bought a 6 pack so I can use one in my lamp and have spares, but I was dissapointed that they're brighter than the 230 lumens advertised, and the filaments are hotter than I thought, but the light they output is good.

I purchased these because I seem to be sensitive to LED lights with their brighter light spectrums. Almost immediately, I noticed that I am sleeping better and won’t wake up if one gets turned on by someone else in the household when I’m asleep. They give a nice yellow glow that is easier on my eyes and give my home a nice, warm, cozy feeling. They are also aesthetically pleasing in several glass lampshade lamps I have. They work in lamps with different brightness settings and can be warm to the touch at brighter settings, so be sure any little ones in the house know not to touch them. They are not overly bright, so may not work in settings where you need bright light for detailed work, but for anywhere that you want to create a warm and inviting glow, these are great. One bulb immediately burnt out. Now we only have 1 extra for our dining room light. If this one burnt out, who knows how long the rest will last. $3 a bulb? Ridiculous when the quality isn't there.

These fit a standard light bulb socket. I got them for use with a dim bulb tester in my electronics repair hobby. California restrictions do not allow shipment to addresses within the state so I had to have them sent to an out-of-state relative. The glass appears robust and there was no shipping damage. The clear glass and large filament strands provides visibility to very minor current draws (dim filaments) which is very important in my application.
