  • The Ultimate Dock for Steam Deck and ROG Ally – Worth Every Penny!
Style: 12-IN-1 Color: Black
This JSAUX RGB Docking Station is an absolute game-changer for my Steam Deck OLED and ROG Ally setup. The 12-in-1 design is incredibly versatile—everything from 4K@120Hz HDMI and DisplayPort to Gigabit Ethernet and USB 3.2 ports works flawlessly. I was especially impressed with how seamlessly it handles high refresh rates on my external monitor without any lag or hiccups. The SD/TF card slots and the 3.5mm audio jack are nice quality-of-life additions that make this dock feel truly premium and all-in-one. The RGB lighting adds a slick touch to my desk setup without being too over-the-top, and the build quality feels solid and durable. It’s compact enough to fit neatly on my desk yet powerful enough to replace a handful of separate adapters. Whether I’m gaming, transferring files, or just working with multiple peripherals, this dock keeps everything running smoothly. Highly recommended for anyone with a handheld console who wants maximum connectivity with zero compromise. ... show more

  • Definitely worth the buy if you need extra ports
Style: 12-IN-1 Color: Black
So far this product is flawless. Higher proformance then the smaller model. I needed something with display port. Seems to be as good as steamdock which i have both the extra sd slots have proven useful as that was a big reason I picked this over others.

  • Sleek, functional and recommended over cheaper options of this brand
Style: 12-IN-1 Color: Black
Sleek, colorful and works great! The only reason im giving 4 stars is because the pull out stand does not fit an xbox rog ally x. It can be balanced, but will fall off easily. Other than that, it's what I was hoping for. Works great!

  • Does what it "says on the tin"
Style: 12-IN-1 Color: Crystal
The docking station does what it says in the description. The main reason I was looking for this docking was station was to use an ROG ally with a portable display and be able to also power that display on a single usb-c cable. I also had an external SSD that I was trying to use for gameplay on the SSD. You can in fact do this, but definitely test this capability. The ethernet jack and SD card reader are pretty sweet too. The rgb setting can be turned off, but if you unplug the dock, I believe the settings aren't saved. Overall a nice piece. As an extra test, I wanted to connect dual monitors. Though these use cases are possible, there is an issue about passing the correct screen resolution through a docking station in certain configurations. I'm unsure why in certain conditions the native screen resolution of 1080p doesn't work properly if you are also supplying power across a docking station and trying two monitors. I have tried 4 different monitors, 5 different usb cables and 4 different docking stations, as well as combo adapters. This is not a point against this docking station in particular but if you have specific needs, just make sure to test them. Regardless, this piece is nice for having one host usb-c and 2 other usb-c ports. ... show more

  • Don’t work with ally x

Does not work with Rog Ally X. Display flickers and stops displaying out to the tv after an hour

  • Cheapest expensive dock
Style: 12-IN-1 Color: Crystal
Edit 10/2025: I saw they came out with the black one which is 1000x less ugly, and I realized it's just the top shell that's black. So I painted mine! Disassembled, primed +painted, finished with a matte clear coat, and it looks identical, so I'm a lot happier now. I still wish they would have included an m.2 slot, or hey JSAUX, I BEG you, make a variant with the new microSD express, that would be the absolute greatest thing. Original review: It works, and works well. But man is it flimsy, the plastic piece to "hold" your handheld can just barely handle the weight of a steam deck and is only "able" to hold the legion go due to the sheer willpower of the support nub on the bottom of that plastic piece. If you even look at it funny, it falls backwards. Flimsy, ugly, plugged it in to use one time and immediately started looking for shell swaps I could 3d print for it, but alas there are none, so it stays hidden away unused. I feel like if you are gonna offer a premium dock, you have GOT to make it out of premium materials, and tbh the most premium material on this thing is the rubber grip on the bottom (I love it and it's the smoothest texture I've ever experienced in my life) RGB does not equal premium. But hey, vrr works. ... show more

  • This dock works with HDMI 2.1 very well.
Style: 12-IN-1 Color: Crystal
Finally I have found a docking station that just works when connected via HDMI 2.1 to a 4K 120hz HDR TV. No issues with sound, or picture quality or anything. The station does work. RGB is a nice and welcome addition. The selection of ports is also OK, PLUS there is a cable connection to the ROG ALLY. One can use another wire if they want to. Great Buy, if you want to use the docks functions fully and completely, without any hassle, this is the item for you. ... show more

  • Great for Steam Deck with VRR, but a poor solution for other devices
Style: 12-IN-1 Color: Crystal
If you are buying this strictly for a Steam Deck LCD, it performs exactly as advertised. I successfully ran FreeSync Premium VRR with ALLM at 120Hz on an LG OLED TV. While the Deck’s native hardware struggles running anything natively at 4K/120Hz, it’s a solid setup for Moonlight/Steam Link streaming from a more powerful rig. I don't have a Legion Go or ROG Ally to test, but it sounds like they have made those devices compatible as well. However, "universal" compatibility is where this dock falls flat. It feels like JSAUX has applied some "secret sauce" or specific firmware tuning to force VRR and 120Hz compatibility for the Steam Deck, ROG Ally, and Legion Go, which seems to break the handshake for everything else. Despite being a premium-priced unit, I encountered significant handshake and resolution issues with every other DP-over-USB-C device I own: GPD Win Max 2 (2025): Constant flickering and black screen that eventually required a TV restart . ROG Zephyrus G15 (2021) & HP Business Laptop: Both failed to output 4K at 120Hz. Samsung Galaxy Fold 5: low resolution and eventually would cause the phone to crash and restart. Macbook Pro M2: surprisingly works at 4K 60 Hz I also tested the DisplayPort functionality on the same devices above with similar or worse results. When I reached out to JSAUX Support via Discord, they weren't able to help: they only guarantee compatibility with the specific devices listed on the product page. For a dock at this price point, that lack of broader device support is disappointing. The "Expensive" Workaround: I managed to stabilize the signal by daisy-chaining this through an Amazon Basics Thunderbolt 4 Dock (B0CPT8K52Q). Using the TB4 dock to "clean" the signal before hitting the JSAUX dock fixed the issues for my other devices, at least on Windows and Mac machines. Even after using this hardware fix, the setup was extremely unstable on some of my machines. On Windows I would get occasional flickering, and on Bazzite the dock would eventually fully crash my system regularly upon sleep or changing to game/desktop modes. Bottom Line: If you have a Steam Deck, it’s a win. If you’re looking for a versatile dock for a multi-device setup, be prepared for potential handshake issues unless you have extra hardware to bridge the gap and even then it's not great. If you don't specifically need HDMI 2.1 VRR, there are much cheaper, more stable options available out there. ... show more
