  • The Ultimate Dock for Steam Deck and ROG Ally – Worth Every Penny!
Style: 12-IN-1 Color: Black
This JSAUX RGB Docking Station is an absolute game-changer for my Steam Deck OLED and ROG Ally setup. The 12-in-1 design is incredibly versatile—everything from 4K@120Hz HDMI and DisplayPort to Gigabit Ethernet and USB 3.2 ports works flawlessly. I was especially impressed with how seamlessly it handles high refresh rates on my external monitor without any lag or hiccups. The SD/TF card slots and the 3.5mm audio jack are nice quality-of-life additions that make this dock feel truly premium and all-in-one. The RGB lighting adds a slick touch to my desk setup without being too over-the-top, and the build quality feels solid and durable. It’s compact enough to fit neatly on my desk yet powerful enough to replace a handful of separate adapters. Whether I’m gaming, transferring files, or just working with multiple peripherals, this dock keeps everything running smoothly. Highly recommended for anyone with a handheld console who wants maximum connectivity with zero compromise. ... show more

  • This dock works with HDMI 2.1 very well.
Style: 12-IN-1 Color: Crystal
Finally I have found a docking station that just works when connected via HDMI 2.1 to a 4K 120hz HDR TV. No issues with sound, or picture quality or anything. The station does work. RGB is a nice and welcome addition. The selection of ports is also OK, PLUS there is a cable connection to the ROG ALLY. One can use another wire if they want to. Great Buy, if you want to use the docks functions fully and completely, without any hassle, this is the item for you. ... show more

  • VRR capable dock
Style: 12-IN-1 Color: Black
One of the few docks that actually support VRR! It’s actually a life saver for the steam deck since most games won’t hold a stable 60 at higher resolutions. Little on the expensive side but works well.

  • Not the best dock
Style: 12-IN-1 Color: Crystal
It's alright, not really what I was expecting out of this dock. The quality felt great, feels nice in the hands. Not many ports considering what they advertised. But it gets the job done. Really do like the 100w power delivery. Overall design is not the best. It fits everywhere due to it's small size. ... show more

  • Does what it "says on the tin"
Style: 12-IN-1 Color: Crystal
The docking station does what it says in the description. The main reason I was looking for this docking was station was to use an ROG ally with a portable display and be able to also power that display on a single usb-c cable. I also had an external SSD that I was trying to use for gameplay on the SSD. You can in fact do this, but definitely test this capability. The ethernet jack and SD card reader are pretty sweet too. The rgb setting can be turned off, but if you unplug the dock, I believe the settings aren't saved. Overall a nice piece. As an extra test, I wanted to connect dual monitors. Though these use cases are possible, there is an issue about passing the correct screen resolution through a docking station in certain configurations. I'm unsure why in certain conditions the native screen resolution of 1080p doesn't work properly if you are also supplying power across a docking station and trying two monitors. I have tried 4 different monitors, 5 different usb cables and 4 different docking stations, as well as combo adapters. This is not a point against this docking station in particular but if you have specific needs, just make sure to test them. Regardless, this piece is nice for having one host usb-c and 2 other usb-c ports. ... show more

  • Finally my Steam Deck has VRR
Style: 12-IN-1 Color: Black
I finally found a docking station that works with my Steam Deck and my Samsung Q90B 85" with 120hz, HDR and VRR working!! VRR finally says it's detected, albeit the TV doesn't say it's using AMD FreeSync like my mini PC with HDMI 2.1. It definitely is using VRR though and I'm finally getting 120fps games with GeForce Now on my TV. I went from UGreen, to WAVLINK, and finally to this beautiful piece of equipment made by JSAUX. I am now a forever customer. ... show more

  • VRR not functional - good thing otherwise
Nicely constructed for a plastic unit, RGB lights are not that loud and can be switched off directly form hardware, base is super wide and stable enough to withstand several heavy braided cables, stand feels flimsy but it is solid enough for a ROG ALLY, included USB-C cable is a tad rigid but it's expected for a 240W rated cable, JSAUX packaging has improved but can still be better. Pretty good for a standard dock, but this is NOT a standard dock. The very reason of existence for the "S" variants (HB0801S in this case) is the VRR function. with everything set and upon connecting the host device, my FreeSync monitor was immediately recognized as FreeSync and HDR capable (which my current DELL dock is unable to grasp) and AMD software enabled the setting automatically, refresh rate was hard capped at 120hz (monitor is 180hz capable, DELL dock can enable it) and that's where good things end. While not gaming (or using anything full screen with GPU acceleration) the thing runs like a dream. The instant a full screen game (running on any DirectX version, Fortnite runs ok on performance mode but VRR cannot be enabled on that mode) is opened, the screen completely blacks out showing ocassional "out of range" messages. calling the windows menu or any windows function will bring back the display as normal. Jsaux support has been very responsive and they provided a couple different firmware versions to try and resolve the issue. FW update #1 changed the blackouts to an exceedingly wobbly image that would again go to full blackout after a few seconds with a constant "out of range" message. FW update #2 reduced the wobbling to a somewhat manageable level with no further "out of range" notices by the screen, performance would "stabilize" to an average of up to 2 seconds of black screen every 10 seconds or so (still unusable). Not good for its intended purpose. it is possible for it to be a decent option with more work on the FW but the provided FWs were almost 8 months apart from each other so polishing the issues is not high on JSAUX list. Returned by JSAUX rep. recommendation ... show more
