This case is awesome. I use it all the time and pretty much always keep the screen covered. I've never had any issues with it and like the ability to attack the USB hub to the back. It's a great alternative to docking. The kickstand did get loose after 6 months of use but after reaching out to JSAUX support on their website they sent me a replacement kickstand. I frequently throw my steam deck in my backpack and other places and it protects it well!

The case fits perfectly and has made my SteamDeck more comfortable to hold. I bought this specifically for the front plate so I could protect my screen. I do have a glass screen protector on but I have kittens and was worried about them walking on it, chewing on it, etc. The front plate protects my joy-sticks and the entire front of the deck, so I don’t need to worry about my partner placing his iPad near/on the deck either. The case for the deck is great!! The deck feels better with that little bit of extra weight and the texture makes it more comfortable to hold. It has also made the R 4&5 and L 4&5 bumpers feel more accessible with my hands. Included a picture of a kitten that had just hopped on top of my deck, the very thing I bought this for. 🤦🏻♂️

I love this product, but sadly had to return it. I tried to get the manufacturer to send replacement part, but they wanted me to ship them back to them before I would receive replacements. They would not tell me where I was sending them or how long I would be without them. So, rather than screw around any longer, (I had already sent 5 emails over 3 days and still made no progress). Anyhow, I did a return with Amazon. The problem was that all 4 of the USB receptacles on the 11 and 1 dock, were very loose. This caused loss of contact with the slightest movement of the dock. I tried several different USB appliances and had the same issue with each USB accessory, mice, keyboards and most importantly, 3 separate USB drives. I needed to flash a new OS in my SteamDeck and had a terrible time getting it done. I had to use a regular USB C adapter to a USB stick to make it work. When I reached out to the manufacturer, they asked for a video of the loose ports. lol. This would have been a nightmare to make and show. I think I had some data loss due to the bad 11 in 1 dock USB type A ports that created a problem with the Steam OS. Once I realized what was going on, I was finally able to fix it by using a different method of data transfer. I have a new OLED Deck and wasn’t pleased with the response from the Manufacturer. Also the kickstand worked, but it just flapped loosely when closed. I don’t like giving this product a bad review, I really like the functionality of all the items. I could have lived with the kickstand issue, but it needs to be mentioned. I was planning on doing a comprehensive review on YouTube, but it would not have been a good one. I just hope the manufacturer reads this and corrects the issues on future production. It’s really a great product aside from the sloppy usb type A ports. I would love to buy it again, but I worry that the ports will be trash in the new one. This could have been avoided if they had just stepped up and sent the new dock as requested. I had no intention of waiting for them to get the old one and then ship a new one. They already have my money and it could have been weeks before I received the replacement parts. I don’t think so. I will say Amazon stepped in and resolved this professionally and quickly. They set up a return and issued the refund in 2 days. That include the return shipment. Excellent folks too. Update: Customer support is working the issue. It appears through initial testing that the supplied USB 3.1 cable may be faulty. I’ll post another update once I have a replacement cable. Update #2: USB 3.1 cable was faulty. Thanks to the support staff, they were able to quickly troubleshoot and ship a cable to fix the issue in a timely manner. Great job! ——- Case is great, no faults there. I like how the case feels, has texture grips. I can’t comment on the kickstand, haven’t had to utilize it in any scenario. The dock works great as well. If you experience any flickering or black screens while using the dock, check your USB 3.1 cable it could be the culprit. Mine was faulty but as mentioned support helped rectify that issue.

I got this to protect my expensive investment. I already had a generic case but I wanted a front cover just like the DBrand case. In comes JSAUX. I noticed that there were 3 options. Bare case and cover kit, the cooler kit and the hub kit. I wanted an option that would remove the dock completely so I opted for the hub kit. The Good 1) Case and front cover are extremely sturdy. I will have no qualms throwing it in a bag, although I will be using a carrying case with them. I also dont feel squeamish about joysticks breaking or the screen or cover cracking if I drop it and it falls on the front. 2) The fact that I can have a charger without it hanging is a plus. I didn't but the case for the charger specifically as I usually don't game that long without power, but it was a nice bonus. 3) Based on current pricing (Sep 1 2023) you'll save $8 buying the bundle rather than separately. The Bad 1) This is the only reason I am docking a star and its because its a bundle. The Steam Deck will not stay upright if you have the front cover on with the hub at the same time. When using the hub, it is the hub that holds the Deck upright, not the kickstand. The Deck rests on the bottom of the hub. However when the front cover is on, the cover sits lower than the hub and pushes the deck upwards and thus causes the Deck to be unsteady and tip over. If you try and use the kickstand, it will be uneven and eventually tip over as well (refer to pictures) There would need to be a slight redesign so that it would work with everything together. I wanted to leave the front cover on the Deck, along with the hub in front of my TV so I wouldn't have extra parts lying around but unfortunately that's not possible. 2. The Valve carrying case will not fit the JSAUX case. You will need to buy a new case that can accommodate it. With all being said, if I were to buy this again I'd probably just buy the case alone and forgo the hub. Had I just purchased the case, I would have given it 5 stars.

I like the cover for the screen and controller. I throw it in my backpack and don’t have to worry about how I pack it with this on. Previous one I had the kick stand broke. On this one the kickstand seems sturdier and it has the hub and battery pack options. I really want to get the deckmate but until it has a front cover option it’s not enough. This is the best one I have seen with a front cover.
