  • This is a fantastic case
I love that this is one of the few cases that has the storage below the handheld, rather than a zipper pouch above it that might scratch the screen. I was concerned after purchase that maybe this case would be too big. But when it came, it was surprisingly minimal and manageable. In fact compared to my barebones thin case, there’s not much physical difference, yet this Jsaux case has tons of room for extra stuff. If fits the stock ROG Ally charger fine, but I wanted to pack my 99WHr battery back, so I bought a compact 65W charger to go along and there’s plenty room still for earbuds or something. The ALLY X fits with the Jsaux grip case installed as well as you can see. I cut out the SD card storage tripod flap because that was just a nuisance and unwanted bulk in my opinion and I think it works much better now. The fit/finish and material texture of this case are next level. Very luxurious. I’m very happy I ended up with this one over the many others. I’d buy it again in a heartbeat. I have a hard time justifying the thin case I have because this one just looks better and works better without taking up much more space. ... show more

  • Best Case out of Many Others! Despite minor issues
The media could not be loaded. Great build quality. I definitely feel safe transporting my Ally X in this case. I enjoy the stand it produces as well, and noticed the stand does not block the air intake ports on the back of the Ally which was a nice touch. From the images in the ad it seems like the bottom storage portion has a lot of space to store things, but I've found with bulkier items (charger block, power bank) they need to fit in the middle so when the flap comes down the 2 bulges on either side aren't pressing on it. Otherwise your Ally will sit and move quite high on one side and it also makes it hard to close the case. I paired this with the JSAUX Hardshell Ally Cover/Case which works great as well. The major enhancement it provides that helps make this carrying case better is the Cover provides basically the same Stick grooves that the case does, so they fit perfectly together. Without my additional case on the Ally, and enough items in the bottom storage space I'm concerned it would push the Ally up far enough that the Joysticks would be pressing against the grooves on the interior of the case. Which of course would eventually damage them. The Ally itself (even with my additional case) does not sit snugly in its holder. It has room to slide around, which isn't such a bad thing since the velcro strap will hold it down but on mine the strap is held in place by my cases two Joystick protection areas sticking up, ensuring mine is always dead center. Without that there's a pretty good chance the Ally will slide to one side or another, again causing possible issues with the joysticks in the cases grooves. I will try to make a video to demonstrate. Otherwise 5 stars for sure after trying out a number of different cases off Amazon I found this to be the best. ... show more

  • Zippered Security for Your Steam Deck, with a Hint of Bulk Regret
The JSAUX Carrying Case for Steam Deck is a sturdy knight in shining armor for your gaming setup. It offers impeccable protection, ensuring that your Steam Deck is shielded from the perils of travel. One impressive feature is its ability to house the Steam Deck even with a protective case on—a thoughtful touch for those who like an extra layer of defense. The spacious interior is a game-changer, effortlessly accommodating all your gaming essentials, from the power adapter and USB hub to the dock, earphones, and a stash of MicroSD cards. Organization enthusiasts will find this case to be a dream come true. The zipper is a silent hero in its own right, boasting a buttery smooth operation that has never caught or caused any frustration. It's the kind of reliability you want when entrusting your precious gaming gear to a protective case. However, every hero has its flaws, and in this case, it's the size. While the roominess is appreciated, the bulkiness may be a deal-breaker for those seeking a more travel-friendly option. I recently encountered this issue during a journey home, prompting me to switch to a more compact case for the sake of convenience. In conclusion, if you prioritize top-tier protection and don't mind a bit of bulk, the JSAUX Carrying Case is a fantastic choice. But for the jet-setting gamer looking for a more streamlined travel companion, you might want to explore alternatives that strike a better balance between robustness and portability. ... show more

I couldn’t be happier with this Steam Deck case. The build quality is top-notch—sturdy enough to offer real protection, yet lightweight and easy to carry around. The interior is well-padded, and there’s plenty of room for the console, charger, and even a few extra accessories. I love the sleek design too—it looks great and doesn’t add unnecessary bulk. Zippers are smooth, and the handle feels strong and comfortable. If you travel with your Steam Deck or just want peace of mind at home, this case is a must-have! ... show more

  • Great Steam Deck Case - Would recommend
I have loved this case. It stores so much without becoming a monstrosity to carry around. Keeps the steam deck well protected while also being able to carry around all of the essential accessories to keep your gaming sessions going.
