This is my second dock from JSAUX, its a company I trust at this point when it comes to supporting my handheld gaming habit. I needed a second dock as I run two TVs in our living rm and while we only have (1) steam deck, with the ability to play Steam games on phones, I can now use my other Steam accounts on my Retroid Pockets and Ayn Odins, so I wanted to be able to hook both up. All the inputs are there for a good Steamdeck/handheld hub. I do always wish there was another USB-C port for my external drives, but most likely there is a technical speed limitation, so the USB 3 adapters suffice. I've still got enough USB ports for an external harddrive and two controllers. Performance always seem to at least meet whatever device I had plugged in, there is only so much I can expect my Steamdeck to do on a 4k TV, and the same can be said of my other handheld devices. The whole time my various device sat in the dock very secure, and it gave them an elevated appeal with the current design. It is not as portable as my other hub that folds up, so this one stays home.

I've purchased JSAUX docs in the past for some of my other devices, so I'm no stranger to this company. This version of their dock works great (as long as it's got all the ports you need). It works with the original ROG Ally, the newer ROG XBOX Ally, and the Steam Deck at least. It's got a longer power cable with it than the previous version I purchased, which gives it a bit more flexibility and should be able to reach taller console/computer devices (Legion Go, I'm looking at you here). The USB ports work great. When using my own 140watt charger, I had no issues getting the Ally into its full-power boost mode. Using a fast HDMI cable it has a stable 4K connection to the screen I'm using. Its metal construction feels really nice and the wider slot for the handheld devices is a pleasant introduction. I will say that the "6-in-1" thing is a bit misleading. It's got an ethernet port, 3 USB-A ports, 1 HDMI port... and then one more that's specifically for incoming power. That's 5 usable ports, not 6.

I picked this up for a handheld gaming PC setup where I wanted a cleaner desk and TV connection. The HDMI 2.1 output with 4K at 120Hz support is the big feature here, assuming your device and display can use it. Gigabit Ethernet is very useful for downloads and game streaming. The three USB ports give enough room for a controller dongle, keyboard, mouse, or external storage. The 100W charging support is what I want in a dock like this. It held the device at a good viewing angle and kept everything tidy. I would still use a proper high wattage charger with it. For a Steam Deck, ROG Ally, or similar handheld, this is a good dock.

I ordered this as an upgrade to the lower-priced JSAUX dock that I originally bought for my Steam Deck OLED. At the time, I didn’t think there was much difference between them, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. The jump from 100 Mbps to 1,000 Mbps Ethernet is huge. Having three USB 3.0 ports instead of two much slower USB 2.0 ports (5 Gbps vs. 480 Mbps) makes a night-and-day difference when transferring files. Otherwise, the charging and HDMI output appear to be the same. The dock is slightly wider and elevated to accommodate handhelds like the Ally / Ally X, but it works just as well with most other handhelds. I’ve been happy with my other JSAUX products, including those for the Switch—the quality for the price has always been exceptional.

I'm using this docking station to dock and charge a PS5 controller. It does great so far. I plan to plug in other items to keep charged with the 3 provided USB 3.0 slots. This provides enough juice at 100 watts to charge up just about everything I throw at it. The quality is amazing. The material seems to be an extruded aluminum so it's very strong! The rubber grip pads also are very tough and will hold whatever you put in the dock in place. No quality was spared in making this in my opinion. Even the bottom feet have rubber grips to keep it from sliding on a table or shelf. The right angle USB that is included on this should be standard on all USB devices in my opinion. They'd last longer. I'm thoroughly impressed by this docking stations, it's design and all its slots. Highly recommend!
