Was a little hard to assemble but I don’t build bikes so it’s probably easier for some people. My daughter is 11 and 5’1 and this bike fits her perfect. It’s beautiful and the purple is so pretty. It rides pretty good but we did order different breaks because they weren’t that great and she is practicing wheelies so it’s important for her to have good breaks. This bike isn't terribly expensive so we didn't expect it to be top of the line with the highest quality but even still, for a nearly $200 bike, the brakes are terrible. They barely slow the bike down and the pads wear away very quickly. And the rims seem to become wobbly quick as well. We've bought two of these bikes for my 12-year-old son. Like I said, it's not like it's $1,000 bike, we get it. But for 200 bucks, you would think at least the brakes would be decent or they could have at least added front brakes too. Which is what we did. We added a front brake and it stops a lot better. But my son really likes the bike all around. It's a good looking bike and good enough for him to be a kid with. Definitely good for the price but just be careful if your kid is big like mine. We bought the 24-in tire version by the way ... show more

Cheapest tires! I received bike about a week ago. One tire is already worn through. My grandson rode just a few times. Chain came off as well as bike seat. I had to buy 2 new tires because the original ones are so thin. Terrible!!!

This is a great bike! We got this for my 10 year old for Christmas and it’s been such a hit with him. It looks really cool and the contrast between the shiny black and the bright matte brown is super visually appealing. It’s really sturdy while also being light enough to lift in and out of the back of vehicles easily. The assembly was quick, the only issue we’ve ever had is that we wish the brake worked a bit better- it takes a minute to stop the bike. Bike is nice, easy to put together, looks good and pretty sturdy. But and this is a big but - the brakes are useless. We went down a 4% incline with my son holding the brakes and the bike kept moving. We purchased a set of brakes for the front of the bike and it helped significantly.
