Review: This bike is gorgeous! Well made, easy to assemble, and just perfect. Although the box arrived with a hole in it, the bike was packaged well enough that there isn’t a scratch on it. Tires came inflated but need a little extra. FYI, it doesn’t have a front handbrake, but I think this will be beneficial so little ones don’t fly head first with a hard brake, just something to keep in mind if it’s important to you. The brown tires and black bike look SO sharp! It has a retro vibe I love and I know will get tons of use. The stunt pegs are a nice addition too! ... show more

Easy to assemble except for the brake. My kid has pretty small hands and it’s really hard for her to reach the brake lever with her fingers. Also, the brake is the absolute cheapest type that I’ve seen. It’s very tight despite my adding extra lube and adjusting it countless times. Another thing I noticed is the rear wheel rim is very slightly warped. This is what I’d consider a budget bike, so I’m not too worried about it, but still.. ehhh. Chain is good quality, pedals are decent, frame seems solid. Handlebars are a little on the wide side for a kids bike. I thought that was a little odd, but my daughter manages ok. All in all a pretty decent bike. I just wish the brake of a little higher quality. I would’ve paid a little more for the option to have a better brake. Also, the seat is really comfy! My daughter had a little gel cover thing that she insisted on putting on, but the seat as it comes is one of the most comfortable I’ve ever seen on a BMX style bike like this. ... show more

The bike was simple to put together in about an hour. The instructions were clear although a bit generic. I got it originally for my son and although he’s got some time to grow into it, I can ride this bike myself currently and go in rides with my son. I appreciate all the tools be included! Very helpful, so you don’t have to worry about anything other than an air pump to inflate the tires. The bike is sturdy and the quality is evident. This bike gets extra points from me for having a rear brake. I see so many bikes now that have a front brake only, and that is a recipe for disaster. I saw a bad accident when I was a kid because the kid in front of me only had a front brake and ever since then I have been really cognizant of that. This bike looks cool and has the safety features I want my kids to have. I also like the chain cover. It only covers the top half of the chain, but that is good enough for older kids. This bike is easy to assemble and fun to ride. It is a little overvalued in my opinion, however I think it has a unique look, smooth ride and great safety features. ... show more

Ordered this bike for my son, and we were able to get it out of the box and assembled in the driveway in under an hour pretty easily. The instructions do seem to be generic for maybe a couple of different bike models, because they referenced training wheels (which were not included in the 24" model) and instructions for connecting the front brake, which was already installed in the box. The bike packaging took some time to get through, but you could tell precautions were taken to protect the bike from any damage in shipping- and the bike arrived in perfect shape. I appreciate that all necessary tools (besides a knife or scissors to get through the packaging) were included. You just need an air pump to finish off the tires and you are ready to roll! ... show more

This is a pretty good kids bike and I can't really find any major faults with it. It's sturdy and well made. It was easy to assemble and really there isn't much to say about it. The only thing is that for the price there are better options. Just be aware that this is a BMW style bike so if you are looking for gears etc this isn't the right option. If the price dropped then I think it's a solid option but for ~$200 it just doesn't pass my preferred value equation. ... show more
