Perfectly good for high G ukulele but not working for the low G. It’s very inexpensive, folds very nicely flat when not in use and is small and light. Easy to operate. Good value

I own quite a few things from Joyo that I love. I have some Pedals and an interface that allows me to hook my guitar to my computer. All are budget minded and good quality. This guitar tuner is without a doubt the worst JOYO product I have ever owned. I tuned my guitar. But it was not in tune. I gave it a star because it turns on and off. Very disappointed. Definitely spend the money and get something more reliable. (Note: I have upgraded this review to three stars because JOYO custom service refunded my money and stood by their product. As I said, I have other JOYO products that perform extremely well. I will continue to look at JOYO offering in the future.) ... show more

The price is low- I'll grant you that! I play several stringed instruments and value the usefulness of having an attachable tuner. But this tuner is totally a waste of your money. In my opinion, the product summary is quite INACCURATE. It is NOT useful for guitar, banjo, violin or soprano uke!! Violin tunes to. GDAE, Guitar tunes to EADGBE. Banjo- g4 C3 G3 B3 D4, Sopr. Uke- GCAE This clip on tuner tunes to the following pitches : CGVBuCuD. (yes! V) **No E. **No A. Guitars use E and A. Violins use both E and A. Ukes use E. Banjos have 2 octaves of G. Not only are necessary pitches not on this tuner but the tuner does not pick the pitches up!! Banjos are pretty loud and the tuner did not even register a pitch other than D. My advice -- search Amazon to find a more expensive, reliable clip-on tuner. Until you find one ,download the free g-Strings app on your phone. ... show more

I like how easy it is to use this tuner. It clips onto my guitar without any trouble and the screen displays the note names in a clear way. The screen will change to green when the string is in tune which is a nice feature. Every once in a while the tuner won't register the low E string but most of the time it isn't an issue, since you can work around it by using the 12th fret harmonic if needed. Overall I think this tuner is very good for the money. I would buy it again over some other brands I have used in the past. ... show more

As a semi-pro guitarist, I must own 100 various headstock tuners, and at any given time, I can't find any of them. Great value for the money. I would highly recommend it, especially if you're prone to losing and misplacing them. There is no sense in buying the expensive versions only to leave them at a gig, have them get snagged by a bandmate, or just disappear into the ether. ... show more
