Is there some type of a secret mystery for the batteries. Do you have to be on a deliberate mission and read through absolutely everything and then go back and do it two or three more times just to find what kind of battery it takes. You should definitely make this a whole lot easier for grown-ups.

    • Bluetooth wouldn't play through speaker
We couldn't get the Bluetooth to play. like, it would say it had connected, but wouldn't play the music. But All the other modes worked just fine and the kids loved it.

My grandson swears that he's headed to Dancing with the Stars after playing with this Dance mat that has provided hours of Fun for him keeping him very busy during this winter season. What I like is that this durable Peva material is easy to wipe off, and clean. The volume is perfect without being too loud or noisy keeps the grandkids super busy for hours. It was pretty cool watching the grandkids actively playing together to see who had the better dance off loads of fun. A good value and a good find I would definitely recommend. The Bluetooth feature was a little tricky setting up but one we were able to do so we just expanded the fun its pretty easy to fold and store until the next dance off . ... show more

    • Initially awesome niche fun
But expect it to be used for a short time. I say this, not because of the quality of the product, but rather it's due to how younger children are with regards to attention span and the need for parental prodding or suggestion for use. Unless a child enjoys dancing or there is a need for a competitive game with friends it's not going to be a first-choice toy after the initial 'newness' wears off. The built-in music is OK for younger children but as they start to develop a choice for music they may hear on the radio, video games, or from other media providers on their tablets having it work well with Bluetooth becomes more important. As I state in the title it has a niche that it fits into very well. If your child has the interest, then it's perfect and the quality of the construction is such that he/she will enjoy using it for a long time. ... show more
