I've been using this battery for a while now, and I can surely say it outperforms very well in terms of both power and speed. I use this as my daily commute to get around my town, and the battery life never fails me. Keep in mind, I use full-throttle most of the time, too. The performance continues to dominate throughout my routes. As for the fit and ease of installation, it is very easy to install. If you plan on mounting onto the framework, but concerned the battery won't fit your within your bike, try investing in a “Double-bob” or “Triple-bob” (depending on which Hailong battery you buy). It is from Grin Technologies, a well-known manufacturer. I had issues positioning the battery due to my bicycle's framework, but it gave me more positions and options to perfectly mount. Overall, Joyisi is great at what they do, and they are outstanding at customer support (especially Enzhuo❤️). I've bought their products for years, and not once have they ever failed me, and they won't fail you, too.

The battery works great, for the price! However, the battery seems stuck and will not release from the bike. So, the battery has to charge on the bike. This battery replaced a fading 48v 12.5wh battery.

This was full of 65 new SAMSUNG ICR1865026J(2600mAh Purple 5x13) cells, and they look and test authentic! Pack and mount weight 8.9lbs, and has a good quality BMS(BMC13S30A). Unintentionally tested its short circuit capabilities and they work great lol(takes a minute for it to reset, but expected, works on both charge and discharge side... don't ask how i know). Running this on my 1000W rig, i get a solid 16-18 miles out of it before I start looking for somewhere to plug it in. Mount took a bit of modification to work it onto my bike, but there is also a third mounting hole under the bracket. I drilled a few rivnut into the frame and it is SOLID mounted. The only issue I have is it keeps the power on the bike while charging, which keeps my headlight on even when the switch is off. Not a fan of the XLR connector for the charger, but whatever. Been on this for about a month and not disappointed so far. EDIT: well as with the past battery, I ended up taking out the cheap charge plug and replaced it with an Anderson connector. the battery life is still phenomenal though. got just over 20m the other day.

Cuts out A LOT, on flat terrain and even down hill it cuts out if I try to accelerate too quickly. I have an older battery that does not have these issues. I do not recommend this battery if you rely on your bike for transportation or if you need long range. I tried to contact support to see if we could find a resolution but the automated assistant just says it's not returnable, which is understandable because it says that in the listing, but I am not asking for a return. I want product support such as parts or maybe a partial refund. This issue is likely the cells themselves or the BMS. I intend to take this battery apart and confirm if these are genuine LG cells like it says on the listing.

The first battery I received from this company was dead on arrival. The output BMS was damaged to the point it could not produce any useful power. After reaching out to customer service, I was very pleased with their attention to detail, and they sent me a replacement battery as soon as it was clear that it was not possible for me to fix this issue. I have received a replacement battery of the same specs, and it has worked perfectly so far after a few miles of riding. By my estimates, I can safely ride 35 miles in this battery(52 V 20 AH) in hilly terrain at high speeds while keeping voltage above a safe level for long term health. This battery was a replacement for a 52 V 13 AH battery from another brand that started showing signs of being a fire hazard, so my bike was already fitted with the correct battery mount for this style of battery. This made installation trivial. If your bike has its water bottle mounting holes in an odd position, you may need to drill a hole into the middle of the battery mount to make it fit on your bike. If your battery shows signs of damage on arrival, try the following tests: 1. Place a 12K ohm resistor between the output terminals of the battery, while measuring the voltage of the battery with a multimeter. In a functional battery, this will cause the resistor to heat up at a rate of slightly more than 0.25 W, and the voltage of the battery should read ~58 V when fully charged(for a 52 V battery). If the output BMS is broken, the resistor will cause the read voltage to drop to near zero. 2. If the output voltage is not working as expected, read the voltage across the battery's input terminals to directly read the voltage of the cells. This allows you to assess the health of the cells without interference from a faulty BMS. a fully charged 52 V battery should read 58 V.

This is a great battery for your e-bike! I have over 2000 miles on my 48v/13Ah model fitted with LG cells. After a year of riding, I continue to get 50 miles per charge with pedal assist and 30 miles at near full throttle. To improve mounting rigidity, drill holes through the casing and secure the base to the water bottle bosses. (See picture in this review) My bike doesn’t have suspension, so the battery gets a lot of vibration. It seems unbreakable. I have dropped my bike. Slid my bike. Bounced over curbs. And the battery doesn’t budge. Another tip: To eliminate any rattle from the locking pin, just attach a piece of duct tape underneath where it passes through the upper plate.

I have it installed in my e- bike a powerful battery to run a 500watts even to 1k watts, can even charge a cellphone during a ride, shape is slim and unlike other e bike batteries you have to make a cover to make it decent, one can be proud about it, I would highly recommend it to a friend
